The save OJB project just got a major boost as the governor of Rivers States; Rotimi Amaechi has donated the sum of $100,000 over N15.5m to rescue the ailing music producer, OJB Jezreel. The move was made by Jazzman Olofin, who was said to have visited Mr. Femi Davies, a top journalist and online publisher to complain about the way the people around are treating the issue of the prolific producer/singer.Miffed by the report given, Femi Davies, we were told, intensified effort to liaise with another top journalist, Mr. Wale Olaleye, This Day Political Editor and he was said to have asked Mr. Davies to come forth with a formal letter of request to be forwarded to Governor Amaechi. As soon as the letter got to the embattled governor, we gathered that he signed it and ordered the state to pay as soon as possible.

As you are reading this, Governor Amechi’s State, Rivers, has finally restored the hope of the people who have rallied round the entertainer, OJB. Though, there seem to be some rancor between the people in charge of the ‘Support OJB Team’ as some people are already deliberating on how to have their share of the money as soon as it arrives since Governor Amaechi has coughed out the whole money needed for the kidney transplant and there were previous donations close to N10m before now.

Though, the money, as we were informed, will get to the ailing entertainer before the close of work today or tomorrow. This is really amazing, despite the situation of things between him and some political elements in PDP, governor Amaechi surprised all and sundry as he made this whopping donation. What a man with a heart of gold!We hope the government of the good-hearted man, Mr. Amaechi would speedily attend to this cause before it’s too late like what happened in Edo State recently when a civil servant who needed just N150,000 had to lose his life because the money was not speedily disbursed as authorized by the governor.

How Do I Stay Physically Fit With No Motivation To ExerciseSaturday June 15 2013:
I don't know how many times my phone alarm rang but its hard work and tenacity woke me nonetheless. I didn't sleep again till morning. I have no intention of running this morning. I gained a few calories last night I intend to guard it jealously. If I run this morning, I will run into calorie credit. A dull ache hitchhiked to the morning in my head. I don't know when it got there and it held on without letting go.

How Do I Stay Physically Fit With No Motivation To Exercise.
It's good to be physically and mentally fit. Regular exercise helps ensure both physical and mental fitness. Regular exercise is a disciplined healthy lifestyle. When you focus on elaborate schedules of making money, include a portion for exercise My brother came downstairs around six, he tried to get me to run. He got me a running shoe, big a** shorts that gives a mental picture of me in hoopla hoops. I appreciate your gesture but don't waste resources on project Get-Nwabu-to-run, it’s a terribly bad investment. He eventually got the message which I massaged subtly into his mind and he gave up. Seriously I need to get my act together. I have a few reasons for not running like I used to. For instance I lose weight fast. Truth is I want to gain weight. The crew I run with has a motto; Eat Less, Exercise More, Lose Weight, Make Money! Mine for now is; Eat More, Exercise More, Gain Weight, Make Money! So you see our motivation for exercise is not in perfect sync.

I checked the time it was somewhat half past six, that’s good I have enough time before going to church for Saturday sanitation by 8:00 am.

Scary Instant Sleep
I lay on the bed engaging my phone. It was like the present was abruptly cut and shoved into the future in a split second. I opened my eyes and it was 8:28 am. WHAT?! When did I doze off and slept for approximately two hours?! By the time I managed to get dressed and go outside, few of the runners were already back. Imagine when my boss, an active member of the snails squad in the Road Warrior Team is back already. I didn't see the sleep coming at all. That could've been death.

Cleanliness Is Next To Godliness
I got home energized. I did thorough cleaning of the whole room. I cleared all the trash under the bed. I mopped the carpet very well. I fixed the torn part of the carpet. It took me a great deal of time to painstakingly and carefully to do the cleaning. I have not touched under the bed since the Ibe and wife jumped ship. Their regular trademark is richly stamped all over under the bed. I had to rush out of the house to Spar when the job was about 90% complete. I had already planned to wake up my kitchen skills again with a worthy welcome back dish. I bought some grocery from Spar. I also bought food with ice cream and some yoghourt drinks. I did justice to the food immediately I got home. I stayed indoors throughout the rest of the day.

Food For Thought
If you are like me, you want to gain weight, eat more, exercise more and make money, the natural thing to do is to find a new running crew who share similar ideology. Make more money so you can eat more. Eat healthy weight gain foods and also indulge in healthy weight gain activities. Do other forms of exercise besides running. You can walk, swim,  etc. I swim regular. Watch word is to live a healthy lifestyle.

7 Health Tips Of Right Response To Body Pains
Pain is a necessary evil. No one wants it, yet it's the body's way of getting your attention when something is wrong. You're probably sufficiently in tune with your body to know when the pain is just a bother, perhaps the result of moving furniture a day or two before or eating that third enchilada. It's when pain might signal something more serious that the internal dialogue begins:

"OK, this isn't something to fool around with."
"But I can't miss my meeting."
"And how many meetings will you miss if you land in the hospital?"
"I'll give it one more day."

You need a guide so you'll understand which pains you must not ignore -- and why. And, of course, if in doubt, get medical attention.

7 Health Tips On Right Response To Body Pains
1.  Worst Headache of Your Life
Get medical attention immediately. If you have a cold, it could be a sinus headache. But you could have a brain hemorrhage or brain tumor. With any pain, unless you're sure of what caused it, get it checked out.

When someone says they have the worst headache of their life, "what we learned in medical training was that was a classic sign of a brain aneurysm. Go immediately to the ER."

2.  Pain or Discomfort in the Chest, Throat, Jaw, Shoulder, Arm, or Abdomen
Chest pain could be pneumonia or a heart attack. But be aware that heart conditions typically appear as discomfort, not pain. "Don't wait for pain. Heart patients talk about pressure. They'll clench their fist and put it over their chest or say it's like an elephant sitting on their chest."

The discomfort associated with heart disease could also be in the upper chest, throat, jaw, left shoulder or arm, or abdomen and might be accompanied by nausea. "I'm not too much worried about the 18-year-old, but if a person has unexplained, persistent discomfort and knows they're high risk, they shouldn't wait. "Too often people delay because they misinterpret it as [heartburn] or GI distress. Call 911 or get to an emergency room or physician's office. If it turns out to be something else, that's great."

Intermittent discomfort should be taken seriously as well. "There might be a pattern, such as discomfort related to excitement, emotional upset, or exertion. For example, if you experience it when you're gardening, but it goes away when you sit down, that's angina. It's usually worse in cold or hot weather."

A woman's discomfort signs can be more subtle. Heart disease can masquerade as GI symptoms, such as bloating, GI distress, or discomfort in the abdomen. It's also associated with feeling tired. Risk for heart disease increases dramatically after menopause. It kills more women than men even though men are at higher risk at any age. Women and their physicians need to be on their toes."

7 Health Tips On Right Response To Body Pains
3.  Pain in Lower Back or Between Shoulder Blades
Most often it's arthritis. Other possibilities include a heart attack or abdominal problems. "One danger is aortic dissection, which can appear as either a nagging or sudden pain. People who are at risk have conditions that can change the integrity of the vessel wall. These would include high blood pressure, a history of circulation problems, smoking, and diabetes."

4.  Severe Abdominal Pain
Still have your appendix? Don't flirt with the possibility of a rupture. Gallbladder and pancreas problems, stomach ulcers, and intestinal blockages are some other possible causes of abdominal pain that need attention.

5.  Calf Pain
One of the lesser known dangers is deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot that can occur in the leg's deep veins, and it can be life-threatening. The danger is that a piece of the clot could break loose and cause pulmonary embolism[a clot in the lungs], which could be fatal. Cancer, obesity, immobility due to prolonged bed rest or long-distance travel, pregnancy, and advanced age are among the risk factors.
Sometimes there's just swelling without pain. If you have swelling and pain in your calf muscles, see a doctor immediately.

6.  Burning Feet or Legs
In some people who don't know they have diabetes, peripheral neuropathy could be one of the first signs. It's a burning or pins-and-needles sensation in the feet or legs that can indicate nerve damage.

7.  Vague, Combined, or Medically Unexplained Pains
Various painful, physical symptoms are common in depression. Patients will have vague complaints of headaches, abdominal pain, or limb pain, sometimes in combination.
Because the pain might be chronic and not terribly debilitating, depressed people, their families, and health care professionals might dismiss the symptoms. Furthermore, the more depressed you are, the more difficulty you have describing your feelings. All of this can lead the clinician astray.
Other symptoms must be present before a diagnosis of depression can be made. Get help when you've lost interest in activities, you're unable to work or think effectively, and you can't get along with people. And don't suffer silently when you're hurting.

There's more to depression than deterioration of the quality of life. It has to be treated aggressively before it causes structural changes in the brain. Take better health care of yourself. Live a healthy lifestyle.

Wizkid Replaces Crashed Porsche With Brand New One ** OJB In New Of N15Million For Kidney Transplant
Barely two weeks after Wizkid escaped death after crashing his N15million Porsche Panamera in an accident in Lekki, Wizkid has replaced the car. The young Nigerian music star posted his new ride on his Instagram page early today with the caption #blessed!. I’m happy for him.

On another development OJB Jezreel is in need of N15million for a kidney transplant. A life is given at the same time a life is taken. It is ironic that both "items" i.e. a Kidney Transplant and Porsche Panamera cost N15million. Im not saying OJB is Wizkid's responsibility so he should foot the entire bill, I'm just saying. I'm not saying Wizkid has not supported him or not, I'm just saying. For benefit of doubt, maybe he had already placed the order before OJB plea went public, it’s possible. I'm not defending his action just pondering possibilities.

I'm saying the kind of life they make us believe they live is flamboyant enough to raise N50million for OJB without him having to publicly beg for it. Could it be that OJB was mean to most of them so they are paying back? Even if it is so, what happened to forgiveness? #Imjustsaying

I like hearing news like this. There are still people with human kindness. I like to see more philanthropist rise to the occasion to lend a helping to humanity.

Billionaire Sir Emeka Offor is donating $1.25 million to the Rotary Club's PolioPlus program to eradicate the paralyzing disease that attacks more people in his country, Nigeria, than any other in the world.

In a statement received Wednesday the oil and gas tycoon says "polio should have no place in our world."

Nigeria is the sticking point for efforts to rid the world of polio because of opposition from northern Muslim leaders who falsely preach that the vaccinations cause sterility and AIDS. The project also is opposed by Islamic extremists blamed for the killings of nine women health workers as they were vaccinating children against polio in northern Kano city in February.

Offor said the number of documented cases in Nigeria rose from 62 in 2011 to 122 last year.

Health they say is wealth, we all need to join hands in various ways we can to contribute to the development and growth of our nation Nigeria.

5 Major Health Benefits Of Aloe Vera Plant
Growing up we had abundant aloe vera plant in our compound. They were very rich, thick, juicy and succulent. My compound was the only place with aloe vera in the whole community lol. We knew of the health benefits of aloe vera but not like it is known today. We didn't use it much till media on health benefits of aloe vera hit my village, it became an endangered specie. All of a sudden everybody in my village is  trying to live a healthy lifestyle and is now an aloe vera expert. They discuss its multiple medicinal qualities.

Most of us are unaware that the healing powers of aloe extend much beyond cooling and repairing sunburnt skin. In ancient times, aloe vera and its extracts were used for medicinal purposes. Today, researchers are discovering more advantages of this versatile plant. Mentioned below are the top five health benefits of aloe vera, aloe vera juice, and aloe vera gel:

5 Major Health Benefits Of Aloe Vera Plant Include;
1.Certain properties of the aloe vera plant make it an excellent remedy for speeding up the healing process to any injury. Aloe vera is excellent for treating scars, burns, and cuts.

2. Aloe Vera is well known for its anti-inflammatory properties. In other words, it has the ability to arrest inflammation or slow it down due to the presence of fatty acids. Applying aloe vera gel can prevent or stop inflammation caused by injury, immune dysfunction, and many other problems.

3. Improves digestion and helps detoxify the body. Aloe vera juice and gel are both good laxatives and help in dealing with constipation.

4. As Aloe Vera is a cellular regenerator and has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal effects, these properties make aloe vera one of nature's healthiest products. Being a strong antioxidant, it hunts down free radicals and protects the body and that is a huge health benefit.

5. The dried juice/gel of the aloe vera plant is traditionally used as a remedy for diabetes as the aloe vera juice lowers blood sugar.

Aloe Vera in almost all its forms possesses multiple medicinal qualities that can improve the immune system and help your body to recover more quickly, thereby increasing the quality of your life. Taking aloe vera in excess quantities can lead to harmful effects, so it is good to consume aloe vera in small amounts until you know how your body reacts to it.

Then I only used it for a clear smooth skin. How do you use aloe vera? Or are you missing out on the health benefits of aloe vera? For those who live a healthy lifestyle you might wanna try the green spiky healing plant called aloe vera.

In a recent study from the Rice University, Houston, it has been revealed that the health benefits of the vegetables reach highest levels at the noon. So to maintain a healthy lifestyle, it is healthiest to eat vegetables during the afternoon.

The study asserted that the vegetables and fruits are still sensitive to day light after being harvested. Also, it asserted that the levels of antioxidants that fight cancer are at peaks levels at noon while they drop to half the maximum level in evening.

I have often eaten fruits especially apples in the day time. I can't say the same for vegetables.

Published in Current Biology, the study suggested that the fruits and vegetables too had internal clocks like human beings. Some of the compounds in plants are stimulated by the light-dark cycle after they are harvested.

Experts say that the levels of protective compounds in vegetable begin to drop after they are harvested. Janet Braam, a Researcher from Rice University, and her colleagues took cabbages and put them under light-dark cycle of 12 hours.

"And sure enough we found that when we put the plants under light-dark cycles, we found periods of accumulation of those beneficial chemicals", argued Braam. The findings suggested that the peak levels of the compounds were achieved in the afternoon.

Similar results were observed by the research team in lettuce, spinach, sweet potatoes and blueberries. The research explains significance of storing vegetables and fruits under light-dark cycles.

Now you know, give yourself a healthy facelift as you put this in practice for a healthy living.

Working From Home, Family Are On Vacation
Friday June 07 2013
Here is a little weather class about Nigeria. We have two major seasons in Nigeria which is the Rainy/Wet and Dry/Harmattan season. Simply put, rainy season brings the rain and the dry season brings no rain hence dryness/dust and harmattan. We are in the rainy season now. The intensity of the rain and harmattan varies from region to region. Lagos is a notorious flood prone state. Its rain can be a real pain in the axx. The rain comes down and the flood goes up. It rained heavily last night. Honestly I didn't know how much it rained till I went outside......and the waters covered the sea. So if you want to enjoy Lekki, be wary of the season.

The rain was indeed heavy! I must go to work regardless, whether by boat or submarine since I don't have a car yet. I wore rain boots and waded jungle style through the flood, past the flood to Doc's shop where I changed back to my normal shoes and hit the road. Ifeanyi was driving out as I was coming in. He was playing his music at usual loud volume though his windows are tight shut. Personally, I don't like putting my eardrums through tremendous stress of very loud volume. It is torture. Besides its a health hazard as it can cause hearing loss. We went to MD's house, that will be work office today.

Work From Home, Family on Vacation
My boss' family travelled so his once rowdy house was very conducive for intellectual work. Family is a lovely thing but can be a distraction when you want to work from home. i think I need me a vacation with the family too. We ate breakfast and lunch at the house, call it benefits of working from the house. We had a real long discussion regarding mostly Ifeanyi's rent and mine.

My boss made some comments which I found a bit improper. Ifeanyi didn't take them lightly too. Cuz by the time he got home, he sent a resignation letter via email. I'm gonna miss him, he's a nice guy. I did a few bank runs and back. I worked on the presentation again with my boss and got a better copy. I'm 100% sure by tomorrow it won't look very good to him. I went home. I went straight home not branching anywhere besides where I bought suya. I ate my suya and viju milk and dozed off.

The cold is killing me. This weather for two isn’t “werking” for me at the moment. I got drenched last night before I reached home. My sweet skinny frame is graciously built with very little subcutaneous fat, I’m at a loss at cushioning my body against cold. My body just absorbs cold easily like it gets paid a fortune to do so. I did my rituals and was gradually getting ready for work when my instinct asked me to go out.

I saw a workman fumigating the passage. That must be Tony my landlord doing this household fumigation. Note that my landlord is a bona fide tenant in the compound, he only sublet the back part of his flat. The workman went downstairs and was fumigating odd places where mosquitoes are prone, also they are places Tony would never touch before. I called the guy, it seems like you are fumigating the whole compound today. Why don’t you fumigate my room specially? Dude asked me to pay N1000. I'm like seriously? I know this is his side money. We haggled down like men to N500. The man came back upstairs to my room with his tools. It was pay-before-service before he did anything.

I hadn’t taken my birth then, bad mistake. Well I didn't have a choice or something. The toxic fume took over as expected. I felt a bit woozy and headache. I hurriedly dressed and left the toxic room. The toxic fume smell was all over me. It even over powered my cologne. I continued to feel light-headed. I got to work late. Meanwhile my boss called and sent a text when I was taking my bath which I didn’t reply until I boarded a bus to the office. He noticed the smell of toxic fume on me. That proved beyond reasonable and unreasonable doubt that I wasn’t lying. I paid for the tickets I booked yesterday. Put some money in my account. I got some food but still unable to do the police errand for Victory. Mehn, at the rate things are going will I ever have the opportunity to do it for him? I wonder. He called to let him know.

My instinct told me that Amara will come to the house to cook this evening and I need to warn her about the toxic fumes. If I let her know before hand, then she can be extra careful when preparing food in that environment. I had another thought, I shouldn’t bother with that definitely she’ll smell the notorious toxic fumes or see telltale sign of it. Yahya is back in town. He went to Beirut for a surgical operation on his leg. Imagine going to the gym to stay fit and coming with a shattered leg, it was a terrible accident. His right foot was bandaged up. Ifeanyi didn’t show up. Yesterday he just breezed in to say hi and breezed out.

My boss divided the PPM and worked on it while I worked on the presentation. The presentation is being modified almost every day to, he is not satisfied yet. Plus there are some really difficult to sought data that needs to go into the presentation. Lately I’ve been making remarkable progress on the thing. I need to call my father. I haven’t spoken to him in a while now. I put some post on my blog. We toiled until after seven o’clock before I went home.

I stopped briefly at Igbo Efon to see Caesar and Doc. I told Caesar the latest in accommodation palaver and he reiterated his resolve never to shelter anyone again in his one room self-contain unless it’s a bigger apartment with many rooms. He has gotten burnt a couple of times doing that.

I Need A Mental Fumigation To Rid My Mind Of Rodent And Pest Thoughts So I Can Have A Healthy Focus.

The toxic fume still hovered faintly in the room. My instinct was proved right once again when I got home. Amara indeed came around and she cooked jollof rice. My portion was in the pot as usual. I didn’t eat. I didn’t quite feel hungry. I went to straight to bed

Accidental Household Fumigation. I'll Try Mental Fumigation

Conjoined Male Twin Delivered At University Of Nigeria Teaching Hospital
It’s been long I heard of cases of conjoined or Siamese twins. Conjoined male twin delivered at University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital five days ago through caesarean section. The conjoined twins are pictured on the rescucitaire and radiant warmer as the doctors are working round the clock to keep them alive.

Their abdomen and thorax are fused. 2D Echo showed that they have separate heart. Abdominal scan also showed that they have different abdominal organ.

Conjoined Male Twin Delivered At University Of Nigeria Teaching Hospital
When things like this happen the spiritual ask God why? Yes I know science will have a plausible answer why it happened. I just pray they get the care they need to survive. If there’s going to be a surgical operation to separate the conjoined twins, let it be successful.

someone suggested they should be taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland ASAP so that they can be separated before they get very strong. Funding may be a problem but think of them as yours. If you can assist in any please do. Children are the leaders of tomorrow.

Insecticide Fume Suffocation Attack Thursday May 16 2013
Today wasn't like yesterday when I was under strong sleep spell but my effort to sleep well was frustrated by Ibe and co. I woke up at the usual time did my morning ritual and read the workers-in-training manual. Mehn this approaching exam is getting me nervous, why should I be? Maybe cuz I haven't prepared to my heart's content. Not that I can fail it, that is so impossible but I’m not satisfied with my preparations so far. I need to be in office by twelve noon so I still got some time before I leave. I went to the kitchen, drank water and took a moment to relish my cleaning handiwork of yesterday. Just look at how clean the wall and window sparkles. I wonder if my roomies noticed how clean it looks. Seriously I always wonder if they can actually tell the difference. Regarding tidiness, you might as well label them ataxomaniacs.

I got to the office around 12:12 noon. Ify was yet to come. He came in looking so corporate and all. That’s very unlike him, I bet there's a business meeting today. Victory my good friend I’ve known for a long time who now lives in the UK called me. He had spoken to me earlier to help him get a police report from police office in Ikoyi Lagos. Ifeanyi cautioned me to be careful with “UK guys”, I told him I can trust this guy. So he called again today requesting my detail for mail and money transfer regarding the errand. I gave it to him, the package will arrive next week hopefully. Evidently there was a meeting as I suspected. Ifeanyi left for the meeting and dropped me off at ShopRite to grab a meal.

I had no dime on me except N10. Armed with my MasterCard card, I felt like Mr. Money. The check-out point proved me wrong. What?! My card isn't working?!! I went to the nearest atm machine, the same thing. I’ve always thought this might happen one day, alas that day is upon me. What a hassle! Luckily my bank was close to The Palms Mall. Even luckier it's still banking hours. And being the luckiest, the bank was virtual empty, a very rare occurrence. I made the withdrawal quickly and went back. The cashier was kind enough to keep my item waiting for me. I paid and left.

What is wrong with my right foot today? I’m not a superstitious fellow but honestly it’s beginning to freak me out! I have been hitting the foot everywhere. My left foot attempted it once. Where did this communication and coordination breakdown originate between my right foot, motor neurons and my brain? Even when the road appears to be relatively flat my right foot will find something to hit! Has the remote control for my right foot fallen into the wrong hands? Imagine someone else controlling just one part of your body like a puppet, that’s creepy.

I ate, didn't quite enjoy the pork meat. I tried working on the presentation, it’s just not flowing. I’m outta here, I’m going home. I was stepping into our compound as Ibe was leaving. I hailed the guy he was leaving with but we were dumb towards each other. I got inside not hoping to eat anything. I didn't leave any money for food. Matter fact I've not been given money specifically for food but I do buy food stuff and canned food from time to time. I have really big issues right now. Mimi asked if I will eat garri, please by all means I will eat garri. She dished it and asked if she should add more, please by all means add more. It was a really nice soup with heavy traffic in it.

When I say there's traffic in a soup it means the soup is really rich with fish - all kinds, meat - all kinds, etc. This one had one big fish and one big beef. I couldn't finish the garri, I thought I could. I don't really eat too much garri at a seating. I eat more rice at one seating than garri. God I was grateful. I thanked her from the bottom of my heart like I always do. Even when she cooks something I don't like cuz I can be finicky with food, I still thank her for her effort. I cook so I know how stressful cooking can be most times especially in this generation of continuous everyday hustle. My stomach is feeling the after-effect of my gourmandism.
One thing I have always been very genuinely and deeply grateful to this couple for is food. The stress of cooking has been lifted off my shoulder. They combined, can whip up something when you least expect it, especially when I lack the means. Now my belly is full, my eyes are heavy, there's only one right thing to do, sleep. Ibe came back in after I have finished eating and was at the sleep station waiting for my train to slumber island. I can’t tell what happened next cuz I zzzzz….

Suddenly I was hysterically coughing and gasping for air. Instinctively in that fight or flight moment my body switched into action on its own and I sprang to my feet then rushed to the door. I could've sworn I was half asleep the whole time. My body overrode all instructions for it to sleep and fled to safety. What happened? What will I not go through in the hands of Ibe?

It was the insecticide fume suffocating me that caused my system to initiate the Save-the-king protocol. What sort of human being am I sheltering for Christ's sake? Is he that retarded or plain wicked? How can a creature that claims to be human spray such a high volume of insecticide fume in the room where someone was sleeping and didn't bother to wake the person first!! Was he planning to kill me with that? Well my God has foiled that plan. Seriously it’s from one ridiculously stupid thing to another. Even Amara didn't wake me.

When I stumbled outside Amara who was already there out of harm's way was just echoing sorry to me repeatedly. These insecticides fume cause me nasty headaches. Mosquito coil equally does same. I use these harmful chemicals sparingly because of hazardous effect on my health. If I had asthma, it would’ve been very catastrophic. Why won’t this guy use his head for once?

I can understand a small squeeze of the aerosol that is easily dispersed by the room ventilation. I just couldn't believe what happened. And you would think common sense is common. I stayed outside the longest waiting for the room to air out. Only God knows how much I inhaled before I woke up. When I got back in I told him to inform me first next time before he sprays. He didn't say anything. This guy is seriously forcing my hand. Why do I still put up with this barbaric behaviour?

His mind works in warped fashion. He can vehemently conclude that a simple act of placing a pencil on the table is connected to nuclear missiles of 1947 cold war and link it further to a future colder war. Is it paranoia delusion, complex, psycho or what? The worst part is how strongly he will believe he is right based on his highly nonsensical delusional postulation.

The night was young but I didn't know that. I just saw myself peeing, then it hit me. It was a dream. I sprang up. Did I just trickle pee on the bed? The first time I had this experience as a full adult, I had terrible malaria. Now what could be wrong? This is not funny. As I stood up and groped my way to the toilet I almost collapsed. Suddenly I felt a crippling dizziness. I was losing consciousness. I struggled to keep my eyes open, tried to keep my mind busy. What is going on? Could this be effect of large amount of insecticide fume I inhaled earlier? I fought my way out of the toilet staggering towards the wardrobe, I need to change my boxers. It was a very difficult task.

I thought of people dying in movies and how they say their consciousness desert them slowly or quickly leaving empty shell of their body. It can’t be what is happening to me now, is it? I managed to change and took a small polo shirt to dry the trickle on the bed.

While I was desperately fighting for my life my roomies were snoring or pretended to be. I believe until proven wrong that the insecticide fume I inhaled earlier was responsible for this attack on my consciousness.

Now I was even more afraid to close my eyes to sleep. Scared I may not open it again. I tried to keep my mind busy with any train of thought, no train came along. I prayed and prayed. I drifted in and out of the prayer. I’m sure I fell asleep in the middle of my prayer.

Monday 20 May 2013

A call from Ugo woke me up. Accompanying the call was stomach wall disintegrating hunger. I didn't plan to go to work today but with the instruction he gave me all the way from South Africa over the phone, I have no choice but to reach the office. At least I still have the power to decide the time to get there. I will do some clean up at home before leaving for office. I stayed in the house gamed on my phone, worked a little on my laptop and did no house cleaning whatsoever. I’m hungry. Yeah I read my open heavens did a little preparation for my worker-in-training class on Saturday, I will be teaching from the open heavens.

I left for office around 12:40pm. I branched at Spar to grab a meal. I’m broke. My rent is still giving me deep concerns. I prayed and wished and is still praying and wishing for a miracle of getting another apartment so I can have peace of mind. I went to the bank to pay for the PHCN bill which I will later use to complete the KYC form as requested by Swift ISP. PHCN link was down so I couldn’t pay. I went back to the office, ate my meal hungrily like an uncivilized primate. I checked my emails. I posted a few materials on my blog. I will go to PHCN office tomorrow.

I did some research on the web regarding the site I wanted create and I saw a deluge of similar site with one created as far back as 1998. I got discouraged to continue the pursuit of the idea. Chris came later in the evening. I wanted to go early today but Onayimi called me bringing to my notice a bug on my blog when viewed on mobile. I had to rectify the problem. By the time I’m through it was like closing normal office hours. I went home.

I hung out with Caesar and Doc for a while. Doc just returned from the East. He attended his younger sister's wedding. I went home to an empty room. Ibe was away. Then I noticed the electric fan was broken at the neck. If it were a human, that's paralysis from neck down. It was really annoying. Brethren you don’t have the faintest earthly nor celestial clue as to how it made me feel. These people disaster/calamity personified. They are reckless in using appliances. Very disorganized they scatter the room at any moment. Very unhygienic, their filth-friendly attitude brought a disgusting roach infestation that I've been struggling to eradicate. What more can I say. These greatly deeply painfully irritate/disgust me to every cell in my body.

Did I mention that I’m broke? How do I fix all these mess and madness I see every second? I’m just playing some music to calm my shattered mood. Lord take this cup away from me. The yoke is too heavy laden. He came much later in the night. I was half awake/asleep. He explained how it happened, it didn't make any difference. If you did the right thing it wouldn’t happened. He said the mattress fail when he walked past it, he barely touched it. That’s why he normally stands the mattress on the corner of the room. He said with unfounded air of conviction that that keeping the mattress to his preferred corner was the smartest solution to putting it away with the undertone of was I that stupid not to know. I gave it him straight.

I told him first of all the mattress should be on the bed. Left to me alone I will put it back on the bed the minute I wake up in the morning, I don’t need to stand on the wall whatever the corner. It’s because he or they are always asleep when I wake that I rest it against the wall. So the best to when they wake is to put it back on the bed where it belongs not shifting it to your preferred side of the wall. If it’s on the bed it won’t fall and damage the fan. Sometimes when I get home the mattress will still be on the wall which I find distasteful. Most people are work in progress, these

When the kids were around, they will just let the kids convert it to play ground while still resting halfway on the wall. Sometimes it will fall and hit the kids. I hate seeing such destructive sight. I will tell this people over and over and over again, my bed or the bed is not a freaking playground, don’t let them play like that on the bed. Even when I put the mattress myself on the bed in the morning by the time I come back from work they’ve brought it down or lean it against the wall. These supposed full-fledged adults will literally convert the mattress to a foot mat. GOD! I need God's open heavens of goodness in it's fullness in my life right now.

Open Heavens Tuesday April 23 2013

I had planned to attend House on the Rock Church today since today's at my church will hold at the Surulere Stadium. I didn’t wake up on time. Oh mehn not today. I got ready to go to House on the Rock Church. I went to bus stop at the same time the Catholic Church at the bus stop just finished one mass. They just flooded the bus stop, great! Now getting a bus will be difficult. I waited for a while, it was no use. I checked two nearby churches, I wasn’t impressed. I went back to waiting for a bus. Prior to going to the bus stop, I had already called Caesar to find out if he was still at home so I can go to his church with him. He didn’t pick the call. But God had a way of doing his thing.

While I was slowly leaving the bus stop to check out a third church, I had somebody shouting my name. He called several times before I heard it. He wanted to withdraw some cash from the ATM and head to church. That was how I went to his church with him. They had a guest preacher from Ghana named Koffi Ampiah. He was something else. The service was full of resurrection. After consuming such soul/spiritual buffet, they church served yet another buffé. The meal was good. We went home with a plan to go swimming.

I had already planned to visit my friend Uche Nwañu but I cancelled at the mention of swimming. I have been craving to jealously treat myself to an all fun swimming session but the stars won’t just align for it to happen. This is a perfect chance. The sun is unbelievably hot at that. He invited one girl Ruth. We went to Orchid Hotel. I had a helluva great time soaking my skin in that pool. I met one cute looking Abigail, she is one helluva swimmer. We didn’t exchange numbers though, I just didn’t take it that far.

The girl we went with, Ruth, she can’t swim. Surprisingly she learnt so much on her first day of swimming. She's got admirable courage, that's why she was able to overcome her fears and learn so much. She came to the deepest part of the pool by holding unto the edge of the pool. I mean she is brave. When we've had our splash to fullest, we went home very satisfied. I hung out with a little more before heading home for the night.

Imagine you saw this in your meal how would you react? I dont want to picture it. Maybe you react like the gif below, however you react it's definitely going to be very unpleasant. Are you going to be glad that you saw it and didnt unknowingly eat the foreign unpleasant meat. But then you have eaten the food with the rat seasoning in it already. Guys be careful about what you put in your mouth. For someone that eats rat, this is nothing. If its a restaurant, I will sue them to the heavens!

My Diary: Tuesday 19-02-2013
Woke up. My head aches. A dull annoying persistent ache. I read my Open Heavens Devotional for the first time since I bought it. And the topic centered on a question I have been asking myself. The topic is "Give Life To Your Faith". Memory verse was Proverbs 21:25 - The desires of the slothful killeth him for his hands refuse to labour.

I often ask myself since I have faith of owning my own car this year, as a matter my choice car is now my darling desktop wallpaper on my laptop, is it my current job that will give me the money to buy that car? Which is possible. But I feel like there is something greater I should do to facilitate the process or make it a reality. Afterwards I prayed. I took my shower.

I felt good reading that devotional and felt even much better after praying. I was torn between going to work and staying at home. I was like Jesus when he prayed, ''Oh my father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me...'' if it be possible let the cup of going to work today pass from me. I dint even have or know what to wear, I'm yet to wash my clothes. My phone battery was down and PHCN was out. I gave my neighbour's house-help my phone to charge for me. She said they were about to turn off their generator and I was like let plug it even if it’s for 1 minute.

I should've just listened to her if I knew I would regret later. Then it happened. They left to God-knows-where with my phone locked in their house. What!! She even turned my phone on, what was she looking for? Of course she couldn't go past the security code. The phone was useless to her but it now transformed to vault for missed calls and messages. I was fuming. She should've given me the phone before leaving.

My head was aching. The catarrh mucus wasn’t as red as yesterday. I managed to find my way to the office. I decided to be a little mischievous when asked about my phone because as sure as the sky is up, my boss must've tried to reach me severally. I decided my response to why I was phone silent will be that my phone is missing. Chuks replied the letter I sent requesting for financial assistance, well the result was negative. Not really surprising to me. At least I have gotten that out of the way. I can now focus on other things.

Later in the day my boss came back to the office from his myriads of meetings and complained and inquired why I dint pick any of his calls and dint reply any of his text messages. That was when it dawned on me that the house-help switched my phone on. I’m so cocksure that I gave her a switched off phone. I started imagining the number of missed calls I will get and how angry it will make some people when their calls are supposedly ignored by me. I told my boss that I don’t know where the phone was as planned. He was like

''dude you can’t afford to lose your phone now. Buy a new one immediately, I don’t care how you do it. You don’t know how much I depend on you. I was going mad when I couldn't reach you today. We are on the verge of making money. We are on edge of the mountain about to jump off into money. Once that happens, I will increase your salary by 300+% instantly. I will relocate you from that environment to a better one where you won’t be falling sick often. We will just take care of everybody's pressing needs.''

And Im like really? I know Im his babysitter, oh please tell me something that I dont know. He asked if N4,000 can get a new phone of the lowest tech ever provided one can send/receive calls/texts with it. He went ahead to give me the money plus extra for transportation and line retrieval. Now I’m cracking my brain on how not to spend this money on a new phone (makes evil face). I have a phone that I don’t use cuz the case is bad. All I have to do is get a new case for the old phone chikena! Ooh, I’m so smart, won’t you agree? At least this be opportunity I've been looking for to repair my old phone.

I left work feeling a bit feverish. I dint take complete dosage of my drugs though I doubt the efficacy of vitamin C tablets, blood capsule and cough syrup on my cough, catarrh, headache and dizzy spells. I got home in one normally functioning piece after spending some time with Gabriel, Aver, Blessing and Doctor. The house-help brought my with a guilt look on her face. It was as if he saw me coming from a mile away as

I approached their door she came out with the phone in hand. I gave her pieces of my mind. I let her I was angry. And why did she turn my phone on? She apologized. She wasn’t happy though I can tell by her reaction. She must be feeling like 'Is this the motherf**king thanks I get for helping you charge your phone?' I wanted to thank her and scold her but I ended up only scolding her. I wonder how she will react the next time I ask her to help me charge my phone. I got inside the house, ate rice and zzzzzzz.

Health Issue: Red Mucus (Phlegm) Discharge A Symptom Of Tuberculosis?
Woke up. If I didn't wake up I wont be writing this, right? Should I stop starting my daily dairy with 'woke up'? I will think about it. But seriously that's the first thing I do every morning I'm alive. My catarrh booked a long early appointment with the toilet. Little did I know what the deal was. I blew my nose several times in the toilet and the mucus kept pouring but it had this frightening red colour.

I noticed the red mucus discharge yesterday. I didn't do anything about it, I left it in the limbo of inconsequential. Yesterday it was just the first mucus that came out my nose that had the red colour, the rest had the normal milk colour. I was wondering could it be dust or is it blood. I concluded it was the dust because this wasn't the first time I experienced such thing. Yesterday stroll with Suggy was a strong suspect regarding the dust. But today's red mucus is too suspicious to be left in the inconsequential thought zone that it's dust.

Tuberculosis Test
Whats more, when I blow my nose its like I can feel my brain coming out of my nose. This muddles my thought process. The dull pain makes me dizzy for a moment and I can feel it throbbing across my skull. I decided to visit the hospital. I sent my boss and brother a text that I wont come to the office instead the doctor will be prodding me today. He replied that I should do tuberculosis test. Is this the symptom of tuberculosis? Now he got me worried. Funny he didn't ask me to do HIV test, because it seems to be the only test that spews out of his mouth anything I said I'm going to the hospital.

Do I look like I've bought HIV ticket and now waiting for take off? Does my lifestyle even give an iota of hint like that? Shoo!! I went to the hospital, did a wbc test, whatever that means. I will Google it. Or I can just ask the doctor lol. I forgot to ask the doctor. They took my blood sample twice. Said the first wasn't enough. Hope these guys are not vampires. Please leave some blood for my heart to play with. I kinda like the chic that sucked my blood the second time. She's a tall cute and dark skinned beauty. For some reason I didn't suck out her name and number. The test said it was advanced ordinary cough.

Good Doctor/Hospital Means Good Money
I went back to the office that late afternoon. Everybody were or at least acted very concerned about my health. At the end of the day they advised I see a good doctor or go to a good hospital. You know good doctor/hospital in Victoria Island Lagos means good money. Did anybody give me good money for a good doctor/hospital, hell no! I don't blame them though, times are hard.

I went home feeling better than I felt leaving home in the morning.
