Nature and nurture has remained a strong force in forming an individual's personality. These factors are in turn affected by culture. Cultural divide across the globe account for some mind bugling disparities in peoples way of life and behaviour. The post you are about to read below regarding different manner in which foreigners and Nigerians respond to advice issues shouldn't be taken lightly. It is all over the web. It is like a comic relief, yes because I laughed hard at it. But in reality, it's tragic. Is it a cultural response?


This is really a typical Nigerian forum response. Imagine someone seeking advice and look at the kind of responses coming from Nigerians, compare it with the foreign responses. Some of the Nigerian responses are totally unrelated to the subject. Some have the holier-than-thou tone, etc. Someone needs advice to better her life and relationship not invitation to ridicule. If you don't have any sensible thing to say, then don't say nonsense. Note also that the response is not always like this, but most times, it is.

Foreign Complainant:

Hello, My name is Sandra Stone, I'm from the UK, I love my husband so much and I do anything to please him in bed. I go down on him but he has refused to reciprocate. Please advice me on how to tell him to go down on me cos I really want him that way.

Foreign Comments:

I think you need to talk to him, marriage is communication.

Kerry Water: Oh my dear, sorry about that, I have been in your shoes before. I told him right away and he is an expert at it.

Nigerian Complainant:
My name is Aminat, I stay In Abuja, married with a kid, my husband has refused to go down on me, what should I do? No insults abeg.
