How Do I Stay Physically Fit With No Motivation To ExerciseSaturday June 15 2013:
I don't know how many times my phone alarm rang but its hard work and tenacity woke me nonetheless. I didn't sleep again till morning. I have no intention of running this morning. I gained a few calories last night I intend to guard it jealously. If I run this morning, I will run into calorie credit. A dull ache hitchhiked to the morning in my head. I don't know when it got there and it held on without letting go.

How Do I Stay Physically Fit With No Motivation To Exercise.
It's good to be physically and mentally fit. Regular exercise helps ensure both physical and mental fitness. Regular exercise is a disciplined healthy lifestyle. When you focus on elaborate schedules of making money, include a portion for exercise My brother came downstairs around six, he tried to get me to run. He got me a running shoe, big a** shorts that gives a mental picture of me in hoopla hoops. I appreciate your gesture but don't waste resources on project Get-Nwabu-to-run, it’s a terribly bad investment. He eventually got the message which I massaged subtly into his mind and he gave up. Seriously I need to get my act together. I have a few reasons for not running like I used to. For instance I lose weight fast. Truth is I want to gain weight. The crew I run with has a motto; Eat Less, Exercise More, Lose Weight, Make Money! Mine for now is; Eat More, Exercise More, Gain Weight, Make Money! So you see our motivation for exercise is not in perfect sync.

I checked the time it was somewhat half past six, that’s good I have enough time before going to church for Saturday sanitation by 8:00 am.

Scary Instant Sleep
I lay on the bed engaging my phone. It was like the present was abruptly cut and shoved into the future in a split second. I opened my eyes and it was 8:28 am. WHAT?! When did I doze off and slept for approximately two hours?! By the time I managed to get dressed and go outside, few of the runners were already back. Imagine when my boss, an active member of the snails squad in the Road Warrior Team is back already. I didn't see the sleep coming at all. That could've been death.

Cleanliness Is Next To Godliness
I got home energized. I did thorough cleaning of the whole room. I cleared all the trash under the bed. I mopped the carpet very well. I fixed the torn part of the carpet. It took me a great deal of time to painstakingly and carefully to do the cleaning. I have not touched under the bed since the Ibe and wife jumped ship. Their regular trademark is richly stamped all over under the bed. I had to rush out of the house to Spar when the job was about 90% complete. I had already planned to wake up my kitchen skills again with a worthy welcome back dish. I bought some grocery from Spar. I also bought food with ice cream and some yoghourt drinks. I did justice to the food immediately I got home. I stayed indoors throughout the rest of the day.

Food For Thought
If you are like me, you want to gain weight, eat more, exercise more and make money, the natural thing to do is to find a new running crew who share similar ideology. Make more money so you can eat more. Eat healthy weight gain foods and also indulge in healthy weight gain activities. Do other forms of exercise besides running. You can walk, swim,  etc. I swim regular. Watch word is to live a healthy lifestyle.

The Best Place For Affordable Grocery Shopping And Avoid Terrible Traffic
The Best Place For Affordable Grocery Shopping And Avoid Terrible Traffic
Saturday June 08 2013
My boss is heading to Abuja today. Normally that ain't my business until I was tasked to accompany the driver back and keep the car keys. He asked last night to come around 10:00am today for the task. I lazed about in the house before leaving. I got there on time and wasted some precious 45 minutes or so before he came out. We dropped him off at the airport. There was dead silence in the car most of the way to Murtala Mohammed Airport Terminal 2. I preferred it that way. Sometimes you just wanna enjoy the sounds of silence. It's a soul soothing music. I'm thinking of the affordable grocery shopping I will do later.

I was feeling sleepy for some reason. My boss was feeling sleepy too. I wonder if the driver felt sleepy too cuz that will be dangerous. We went to Ebeano Supermarket to buy some items as directed by my boss. This supermarket is the best place for affordable grocery shopping within Lekki Phase 1. Some people don't do grocery shopping at Shoprite because of the toll and traffic. Suddenly without warning whatsoever rain started pounding our corner of earth. Rain always causes unusual traffic. The traffic was even evident in the supermarket car park as cars shuffled in and out of parking lots.

One woman was just causing unnecessary traffic due to her usefully useless stubbornness plus she can't drive well. On the flip side she was avoiding scratching her brand new purple Toyota Prado. She was blocking us and other cars, somehow Godwin got a way around it and we left. We dropped the items bought plus the car at the house, the rain was still drizzling. Godwin comes to work on his motor bike. He gave me a ride home.

I branched at Ojomu market for grocery shopping. Spontaneous shopping took over and I spent more than planned. Lara waltzed into same provision store where I was. We exchanged warm pleasantries. She just picked one item and left. I still haven't bought the major item that brought me to the market. I have to check on a different line for that. I got it eventually. I bought some items that I didn't budget. I took a bike home. The ride home is like jet skiing cuz of the flood. Caesar was just leaving my apartment when I got. I dropped my grocery shopping bags and went back to Lekki with him.

We went to see a friend of his who happened to be sister to Anita who is Paul Okoye of PSquare's girlfriend. We hung out. We grabbed a deeply satisfying lunch from Bukka Hut in Lekki, their price is affordable. They ate rice and I committed suicide like Bright Chimezie's song which means I ate garri lol! I ate the garri with edikangikong soup, it was very lovely. If I eat three square meals here every day, you won't recognize me! We went back to the house of Anita. She just rented the place so they are still moving stuffs furniture and fittings gradually. We spent some time chitchatting till evening before I left them. I was still feeling sleepy. I had to sleep before my system crashes. I sleep to my heart and soul content.

If I Had A Car, This Rain Wouldn't Have Drenched Me!
Monday June 03 2013
Sleep wouldn't let me learn last night, I retaliated by waking early around 4:00am. I didn't let it pin me down on the bed. I soaked some clothes around 4:30am. I did a couple things on the laptop, a few changes here and there to my write-up. Truth is, if you read it a thousand times, you are likely to see a thousand things to modify. I need to keep this up, I mean to keep writing and modifying. At around 6:00am I washed the clothes I soaked. I warmed the remaining rice in the microwave.

I read my Open Heavens and prayed. Now my spiritual preparation for today’s hustle is complete. I got ready for work and left. MD was already in the office. I uploaded a lot of post on my blog today. I would’ve brought it up to date except for some vital missing pictures. Elsie told me in the morning that she was going to disturb me with text messages today and asked if I was up for it. With my game face on I said GAME ON. Apparently she wasn’t kidding. My phone buzzed and kept buzzing nonstop. Our text messages kept flying back and forth like a car windscreen wiper during a heavy rain.

Here comes the bank runs. Today is payday. I did all the necessary outside of office tasks. I couldn’t get to Ikoyi Police Station for Victory’s report. I can’t help it. I didn’t get the chance to do it. Back at the office I booked some tickets, one from Owerri to Lagos for Ugo’s mother, the other from Lagos to Abuja for Ugo. I spent the rest of the day looking for certain agricultural statistics on Nigeria. We are still not efficient and meticulous with data storage. It’s difficult to get access to this detailed sort of data that I’m looking for especially online. I easily see such data for other countries. Let’s call it a day here guys.

If I Had A Car, This Rain Wouldn't Have Drenched Me!
Thats not me lol. Just love the picture
Just as I stepped out the office the heavens started watering the earth. What did I do to deserve this? I got drenched. I got drenched. I prefer the cold weather to the hot one anyway. The only problem is the flood and how wet and irritating the environment gets every time it rains. I didn’t make any stopovers, I just went straight home. I was pissed, pissed that the sky peed on me.

If wishes were horses, a beggar would ride. I wish I had an umbrella with me, I wouldn’t have been drenched. You wouldn’t catch me in such wishing terrain. Here’s a sample of what I would say; If Only I Had A CAR, I Wouldn’t Have Been Drenched Today! My pastor would say; “Don’t Ask God For Biscuit, Ask For The Biscuit Factory” He is more than able to give us what we ask for be bold and ask for something tangible knowing fully well you are not going to misuse it. I really need a car right now. I like RANGE ROVER SPORT by the way. Toyota Tundra ain’t bad either lol.

If I Had A Car, This Rain Wouldn't Have Drenched Me!
Luckily this didn't happen to me though LOL! Poor girl. If I were the driver of that car, I wouldn't have done that either.

Awesome Golf Picnic At Lakowe Lakes: A Family Leisure And Bonding Time
What a Colourful Scenery
Saturday June 01 2013: I woke up late I think. Rendezvous time at Ugo's house is 7:30am I woke up a 6:30am. I'm so not feeling this golf game today probably cuz I'm not going to play. I called Ifeanyi, he didn't pick. I felt weak. I probably weakened by last night's nightmare battle royal. I managed to shower and dress up. I called Ugo to know the status he gave me the green to head to his house. I got their before most people and I thought I might be the last.

Driving Range Full of Lovely Kids
It was colourful as everybody came with family, beautiful wives and kids and a grandma. I came alone, no girlfriend. I invited Lara yesterday but she declined, reason she had stuff to do today. We left Ugo's house in flamboyant convoy for Lakowe Lakes around eight o'clock. I was in Seyi's SUV the second to last car. Ugo's blue Prado was the last car. I sat at with Seyi’s two kids, a boy and a girl. The trip started on very smooth note, very lovely weather, I pray it ends that way. At Igbo Efon roundabout Seyi turned round back home as I was trying to attach a reasonable reason to what he did, he told me. There's a warning light glowing on his dashboard, being a cautious human being he wants to switch cars.

I wonder if we would've switched cars if he had only one car. We are back on the road, different car same trip. It was a bit long but we made it in one healthy piece. The house is over full, boisterous laughter tore through atmosphere in the club house.  Kids were running around playfully everywhere. We joined the rest of crew. Breakfast first as usual and it’s a buffet. First I took two pieces of yams, two pieces of beef, three short hotdogs, beans and an apple. I finished that took two bread buns, juice, two small meat pies and two eggs omelet. I feel full.

I can consume a lot more you know lol but let me play gentle man for now lol. After we all had enough breakfast, it was driving range and golfing time. We all trooped to the driving range. I'm not sure this place has seen a crowd like this before. The kids were running about. The weather was so sweet. It was too good to be true actually. It created a really lovely serene scene. If I had a camera I would've taken lots of shots. I took some shots with my phone. I love scenery views, the sight stimulates the romantic side of me. I’m down on one knee asking Mother Nature, will you marry me? LOL!

On our way to the driving range we met these four lovely ducks. They didn't mind us taking pictures of them. As a matter of fact I think they posed for the pictures like a media publicity obsessed celebrities

Gradually the weather changed then a lightening flashed. The guy in charge of the range pulled the plug. He said more lightning bolts will flash and we don’t wanna wait till then before dashing to safety. Come on man we just got to the range. We retraced our steps. Just like he said more thunder bolts raced across the skies. It’s actually exciting to watch this lightning bolts flash across the sky. I was a few meters away from the clubhouse. Quickly I dashed inside faster than Usain Bolt would.

Heaven let lose around 10:20am the rain fell so heavily. From the clubhouse which has a glass or transparent walls, you can see how heavy it was. It rained hard and long. The last time we came here it rained in the morning before a great weather embellished the skies and the whole day. This time around it was the reverse. The day started with a great weather which deteriorated at the height of pleasure trip.

Good Weather Gone Bad
You can plan a pretty picnic but you can’t predict the weather. We waited it out at the clubhouse. Everyone indulged in one thing or another like taking pictures, group discussions, drinking the drinks meant for refreshment during the golf game. The rain refused to stop completely. We took a rain check with the management since there is no refund. We’ll plan another date to golf it out lol. So that was how our Saturday at Lakowe Lakes came to an end we didn’t hope for.

Seyi dropped me off at Igbo Efon. I bought one Kukere 4 Christ CD and went home. Before I reached home I saw Deborah. Instantly that dream played in my head. I just watched her very closely as if to spot even a microscopic telltale sign on her. Of course none was visible. I stayed indoors through the day. Frank came in the evening to collect the right hard drive for the Toshiba laptop I dashed him. I gave him the wrong hard disk the last time we met.

Total Plan System Failure Saturday May 25 2013
Today is a lot of things. It's the monthly sanitation day which is the last Saturday of every month in Nigeria. The plumber is coming to fix my toilet today. Blessing (not Caesar’s girlfriend) said she will come to Lekki area today not my place. And we, the workers under training have time out with the Pastor today by 4:00pm. How do I handle all this? In deed none them is under my control. I read my Open Heavens and prayed. I did the dishes. I called the plumber, it was him who reminded me today's environmental sanitation.

During environmental sanitation no movement is allowed. Everybody should be cleaning their environments. Most people need to be prompted before they can sanitize their environment. It's a grave offence if you are doing otherwise. All shops remain closed and the road is usually empty. It ends by 10:00am.

I started reading a book by Dam Millman titled “The Four Purposes Of Life” It is a good read. It's been lying around for so long. I would've read the book dozens of time supposing I put my will to work. After a few pages I stepped out to the cyber cafe, it was past 10:00am so environmental sanitation has ended. I called the plumber again and he was still at home. And he expects me to believe that he will still make it today. I called Blessing, she was at the shop and also told me she will still come to Lekki in the evening.

The cyber cafe was a total waste of time and money. Can you imagine sending email in the Stone Age era, don’t bother it's not rewarding. I abandoned the computer and browsed on my phone instead. It's just that I can't post to the blog from my phone and I need to Google most of the post pictures. I purposely wasted my browsing voucher so that I won't have any reason to come back here.

I went home, bought bread and sprite on the way. That happened to be my breakfast and lunch. I had a good sleep till around 1:00pm. I got a text from my church around 1:23pm, the time out with pastor has been postponed till 7:00am tomorrow. All the items on my calendar are just taking care of themselves in a no-show way. I picked my book again, at least it won’t tell me not to read it.

Frank called. He is the kind of guy that only calls or visits me when he need a favour. He said he was in the neighbourhood and wanted to say hi, by the way did I cook anything. I said no. He came anyway we talked and I ended up giving him my old laptop. I wanted to give it out anyway. It has a screen and battery problem which I let him know. He was happy, he didn't mind the issues cuz he was convinced he can fix it at computer village Ikeja. If I’m to be frankly frank, Frank is not the kinda guy I’ll normally give something of that value to just like that. He is the type of guy that will never know you when he is enjoying, you won’t even know such time. HE ONLY COMES TO MY HOUSE WHEN THERE’S A HELP I CAN GIVE HIM, PERIOD! I guess the spirit moved me to give it to him anyway just to pay evil with good.

We left together, I needed to collect a particular folder from the hard drive and then format the hard drive. The hard drive refused to work I couldn't retrieve the folder nor format it. Looks like everything that's supposed to happen today don't want to happen.

Total Plan System Failure Saturday May 25 2013
I planned to go buy new shoe today if not for everything that was lined up. Let me check, what did I accomplish today out of all things I lined up for today, NONE! It was a total calendar collapse. Total system failure. Not my fault though. It all didn't work out cuz it wasn't meant to come to pass.

Today is our workers-in-training review session class against the exam tomorrow. Today is also a church youth power summit tagged 3Gz - God, Guys & Girls. I woke up feeling so attached to the bed, I didn't want to wake up. I literally pried myself out the bed with self-will pry bar. I’m sure some pieces of me that didn't wanna let go are still glued tightly to the bed. I showered and left for the review class which starts at 8:00am.

The review session was helpful, it refreshed our memories on some little things you might’ve forgotten. Still if you haven't read up until now, it will do you not much good. After the class we did sanitation. After that I helped with setting up the place for the youth's program. I did the much I can and went home. I ate some bread and had a really long siester. I slept till I got tired of sleeping still I hadn't had enough. I didn't attend the youth program, didn't plan to anyway. I tried to do final revision for my exams tomorrow. I keep forgetting what I’ve read, God help me o!

Amara prepared food. I ate, thanked her and continued reading. She wasn't feeling well. Ibe came in went straight to the kitchen did whatever it was noisily like the kitchen community or ecosystem protested his visit. He left as quickly as he came in saying no word to no one. I got the funniest call from Ibe at exactly 22:03:55pm and I’m not even laughing. Incoming call caller id was his name I thought maybe it was Amara since I saved all their numbers with his name cuz I can’t imagine him and his bloated ego calling me. He might as well put it on Facebook. Oh well I was wrong. The line was a bit bad but my phone call recorder picked the thirteen seconds call nicely. Immediately I said hello the next racket that polluted my ear was;

Ibe: Don’t Worry Very Soon I Go Pack Make You And Amarachi Live Together Eh.
Me: Eh?
Ibe: Don't Worry Emechaa, Very Soon I Go Pack So That You And Amarachi Go Live Together Eh.

And the line went dead. Slowly I lowered the phone from my ear, staring at it like a strange object I’m seeing for the first time. My first reaction was a puzzled expression on my face and mind. I stared bemusedly and intently at my phone for a pretty long time as though it had played a pointless prank on me. Waiting for the phone to confess that it was just a prank but it didn't happen. I looked deeply at the cloak of darkness that wrapped me up on the staircase, scanning for answers to assure me I just imagined what happened. I didn’t get any assurance either.  What kinda brainless call is this? This guy has finally lost it. I’m sure I have said that a couple times before, I’m serious this time. This guy never ceases to amaze me.

Why was he not man enough to tell it to my face all this while we sleep in the same room?
One of his major flaws is how he holds concretely onto his delusional thoughts as if they are well proven and established facts!

People go through really unbelievable things, this situation has thought me so much. Beside the strife and troubles, I should be glad for the life teachings. Should I play this call for his wife? I think I should. So she could brace herself to living with me, that doesn’t even make sense as a joke. Is he trying to be a shirker and shirk his responsibilities? Did I ever expressly or by implied tell him in words or action that I had any interest whatsoever to live with his wife? I dey madt?

All I ever asked him to do was take responsibility, find an accommodation of his own and live with his family there like a man of his status should do. Instead of thoughtfully thinking a way forward and out of this mess, he is zealously interested in and invested his time chasing his tiny tail. Trust Ibe to always come through with something spectacularly stupid. And the monumental mindless misguided telephonic attack continues. Little did I know the worst is yet to come. Ibe didn't sleep in the house, God knows where he slept. From his new abode, wherever that is, he sent me a brainless text at 3:29am. You wouldn't believe your eyes, I didn't. The text goes;

''Inexpirencd?Kp deceivn urself.ur wit her, my wife nw!wat u v always wanned!Hws d pussy...U lik?u v hlpt wreck my fam in2 shreds.all I askt4 was hlp til i find a plac.bt all 4d pussy u wudnt set ur own had rite.sleepn wit her alone in ur hous is great hlp thnx a lot.hpe u kno wat u v don & r doin?yea u do!''

He seems pretty loaded with brainlessness today. Earlier it was a brainless call, now a brainless text. First of, I won't reply that brainless text, I disincline to discredit my intellectual prowess by dignifying a garbage with a response. Secondly I don't even know what the hell he meant by 'Inexpriencd'. At this point nothing will surprise me again. His delusion, insecurity and paranoia has reached all-time high. I think he seriously needs a mental help, to avoid a permanent residency at 'Yaba Left'. I admit embitterment coursed through my vein at the text. Just because you know a mad will throw stone at your valued glass and break it doesn’t mean you won’t feel anything when it happens.

All I did was shelter him and his family disregarding the tremendous inconvenience and sacrifice it saddled on my shoulder and this is the motherf**king thanks I get? Let no man blame me for his irresponsibility and the misfortunes he single-handedly brings upon himself by his own hands. Only God can judge me now. Now I see why Amara wore a trouser and shirt to bed other than her usual wrapper when Ibe was around. I can understand that.

Ibe is always so quick to spew some crazy things that makes me wonder what actually goes on in his heart. The bible clarifies it in Luke 6:45 which says;

"A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh."

They say show me your friend and I'll tell you who you are, that saying won't work here. Please for my sake make an exception and disregard that saying. I’m nothing like this guy and never will!

Class Speaker Saturday April 27 2013
Saturday April 27 2013
Today is the D-day I'm the class speaker to present the Open Heavens at our workers-in-training class. I got up prepared early. It will be bad if I get there late on a day like this. It is clear that the benefits of my increasing spirituality is visibly evident in my personal daily life. Finally the time came for me speak. I mounted the altar. This was my first time to speak or teach/preach from the altar, I let the class know that jokingly. At least history was made today. I was nervous, I also let the class know that. Then I took the class gracefully. Though I won’t give my performance perfect score based on how envisioned it, it didn’t quite go like that. I did well, I guess I set a high standard for myself. Next time I will surpass my expectation.

After the class we did a little sanitation activities against tomorrow's service. I came home a bit tired. I slept a little. Ibe cooked rice yesterday. Amara traveled so he is essentially a pure single Nigerian man now lol. I didn’t taste it yesterday. I ate some today. I rested up a bit then waged my long awaited war on the roaches. It was really intense. And it was very fruitful too. I have to do this every day for two straight weeks at least. A wall gecko was caught in the cross fire, that’s a bonus for me. Ibe came in just as I was about cleaning the menace of the roach carcass in the kitchen. After I was done cleaning, I went out.

I went to Igbo Efon to Doc's place. Caesar was there as well. So we hung out for a while. Austin came around and bought us beer. Well that’s nice of him. I didn't stay too long before heading back. I went home to prepare myself for church tomorrow. I ironed what I wanted to wear. I slept off while studying the topic against tomorrow's worker-in-training class.

Thank God for another day. I slept late last night, not so late actually. But the sleep was so sweet I didnt wake up early, probably because today is Saturday. No work today. Amara is travelling today, her lateness habit is at full power this morning. From the depths of my heart I find it deeply grossly annoying. Her case is past praying for. This is what Igbos call ''o biri na aja ocha''. It literally means it ends with the white sand, white sand representing grave. The phrase simply means whatever the person is referring to is ''INCURABLE!'' She can never change. God forbid I get used to that lifestyle.

The people she was supposed to go with have been waiting for her and she is yet to take her bath. She took her eventually and is running back and forth to dress up. I went into the bathroom just as I was about leave the room. She thought I was gone and almost went semi-nude trying to dress up. I vacated the room for two reasons, first its irritating seeing her go through her routine lateness last minute more haste less speed approach to preparing for an appointment. Second, to give her privacy. Primary reason is the first.

I have to be at the church 8:00am this morning for sanitation activities against service tomorrow. I just waited for her commotion to be over and the air of her commotion to clear out before I took my bath and headed to the church. She was supposed to cook stew but she didnt, so Ibe told me about it as I was leaving. The sanitation didnt hold, it had already been done yesterday. Boy am glad to hear it? I went to Caesar's place. His boss called him to come inspect a job in the office,  I went with him. It didnt take long like he assured me. We proceeded to their church for a youth meeting. The youth meeting was supposed to start by 10:00am. We got around 9:49am and no one was around he decided to go home get some breakfast and come back. I’m still fasting.

I went home with him for breakfast was some sort of torture. We got home he prepared corned flakes for two, apparently he forgot I was fasting. I politely reminded him. After breakfast we went back to the church Victory Inheritance Mission for the meeting. It was anything out of the ordinary. After the youth meeting light refreshments and food followed. I had to parcel my food to the car. Times was few minutes past one, my fast ends by 3:00pm. Caesar had an engagement to MC a couples’ event in church later in the evening, he was anxious to leave and get prepared for that event. He asked me to accompany him to Lagos mainland to buy an outfit for the event, what do I have to lose? Off we go.

At Ikate roundabout we saw an accident that just happened, one person was still struggling to crawl out of the bus. We stopped and rushed over to help. It wasnt a fatal accident but almost everybody had one minor injury or the other except one guy. He had a really nasty deep cut on his left shin. We tried to make everybody fill a bit comfortable in their pain. We left as an ambulance approached. The ambulance passed the scene of the accident and parked a little distance away. Now we dont know if the ambulance came for the accident victims or was it going somewhere else?

At Lekki roundabout there was much traffic, at this point we turned back. Cuz there's no way we can make it back on time for the event with such traffic. He bought a pair of trousers and a shirt at Igbo Efon instead. He called one tailor who’s really good at amending clothes who had been elusive to me for quite some time now to amend the new wears he bought. I took that opportunity and rushed home, packed all the clothes that I need to amend. It is still not 3:00pm so my stomach bites. The tailor did a fairly neat job for a tailor of his nature. I went home and finally ate. It felt really good. I stayed indoors throughout the rest of the day.

Ibe wasn’t around. When he came back in the night, he cooked the stew.

Prayer And Sanitation Saturday April 13 2013

Next was bible study. I felt so sleepy during the bible reading and preaching session. Already I was feeling sleepy as I left the house. They provided coffee to keep one awake. I don’t really like coffee so I didn’t want to take. Later when prayer was about to start I followed others in taking coffee just for the sake of it. Then we prayed. We prayed. We prayed some more. And we prayed. I have never prayed for so long in my life before. I’m still learning. I made mistakes a few times, or forgot words I want to say a few moments, etc. I kept going.

Read: Prayer Is Key – RCCG Open Heavens Devotional Tuesday 13th August 2013

I couldn’t tell if it was the creation called caffeine that kept me awake, which I doubt or the energetic praying mood, which I believe. Finally the prayer came to an end. Time check 3:00 am Saturday morning. I wanted to run today. All workers-in-training members have been integrated into the sanitation department and sanitation is done every Saturday by 7:00 am. There is no way I will be able to run and meet up with sanitation on Saturdays! That means I have to forfeit one. But today we did the sanitation right after the prayer.

It was 3:50 am when I went home to catch at least 2 hours sleep before I head to Lekki to run. I set my alarm to that effect. Brethren, the 2 hour sleep turned into 5 hours. I don’t even know how or when I turned off the alarm. I guess it just wasn’t meant to be. I ate breakfast a little later. I ate "African wackis" garri and egusi soup. I slept and slept and slept. I stayed indoors throughout the day.

Saturday April 06 2013, Personal Diary, Studying
I woke up late reason was I read in the night. My body system has changed. Once I wake up in the middle of the night to do something, it will surely affect my wake up time. It wasn’t always like this. I read my devotional and prayed. I really really want to read, but with the folks in my house who love watching television every time like its their life support bothers me. Of course if I don’t find anywhere to go read my book I'll have to tell them I need a serene environment to read. I'm pretty sure they'll read it the wrong way.

Read: What To Do When The Help You Gave Is Giving You Hell?

I need to do my laundry as well. I decided to go to our office and read, let me not bother anybody. First I yielded to the urge to wash my clothes. Amara left in the morning to she-knows-where. Before I finished washing, she came back. Amazingly the television was off, but guess what. Like faithful, devout religious individual who is divinely entrusted with the duty of watching television, the first thing she asked less than a minute she stepped in the room was why is the television off. Its unbelievable. She turned on the television instantly. I was like thank God I have ruled out reading here.

Read: New Song Coming

By the time I finished, it was a bit late for the office trip. As I was resting PHCN struck, there was power outage. Perfect timing. I haven’t been more happier for the gross incompetence and inefficiencies of PHCN like I was as they took the light. They left one after the other. I stayed at home and read. I read until around 10:00pm ocassionally taking brakes though before I fell asleep.

I woke up a bit confused about what day it was just because of the worker-in-training class of yesterday. I read my open heaven. Read all the days I missed. I prayed and stayed glued to the bed. Oh yeah today's Saturday and I’m supposed to run. I read a couple of emails about rising cases of kidnapping in Lagos even in Lekki area and it kinda freaked me out. One lady was nearly kidnapped during her early morning run right inside Lekki phase 1!

I stayed on the bed and watched another Japanese anime called Inuyasha. It was during this time that Ibe came in. He started playing a music track of his. Then I just figured, he probably slept in the studio recording that song. He was testing his handiwork. I have strictly minding my business in the house, not really talking to anyone unless I absolutely have to. But I always respond when they talk to me.

There was no food in the house. I know he is hungry. I don’t hungry like that. I went to Igbo Efon, by the time I came back he has an empty pot in the middle of the room and asleep. I guess he ate chiki-chiki noodles. I went to Shoprite, bought food and food stuff. I went to the office, ate the food and slept a little. I came back home and prepared eliché with fish and corned beef. That was we ate that evening and in the night.

I woke on time. Pick my gear for running and headed out. I stayed up watching Inuyasha from around 4:00am, I felt a bit sleepy in the morning. Went for the run, I didn’t do the whole 15km cuz I don’t want to lose more weight. Instead I want to gain. It was really tiring. My brother gave me some to wack correct garri. I did exactly that at Onye Mama's buka. Thank God I did that. I felt so energized.

I went home around some minutes to one and slept a great deal. The amount of sleep was enough to put an entire community in comma for days, lol. When I woke up, I did a little reading and then went out for a stroll. Elsie called me as I was about leaving the house. It was cool hearing from her. She is someone I met recently online. I stayed out for the cool breeze. The breeze was sooo amazingly refreshing. I stayed out for a long time just soaking in the Mother Nature’s free therapeutic sea breeze. I went in after this sea breeze glutton was satisfied.

I always look forward to running on Saturdays. I had abandoned the Lekki Road Warriors running club because their goals and mine were milk and oil, they don’t mix. I decided to run with them today. I kinda miss their company, no kidding. They do 15km now. I’m thinking of sticking to 5km. I just wanna stay fit not lose weight. I just took it easy cuz we were running a new route unfamiliar to me, plus I didn’t wanna rush myself. I just followed the lead dog as opposed to being the lead dog. At a point the lead dog tired and I took over nicely. After the run I went to the office to grab something and sleep got firm hold of me there. I slept long.

Woke up feeling weak. Then I remembered my saturday run. I got ready somehow and actually ran. I didnt do devotion. I showered and went to Ceaser's place. I was feeling so tired. Ceaser's house was on fire sort of. Relationship issues with his girlfriend. Relationship can be more dangerous than a nuclear war. We played two rounds of drought/checkers and he beat me as expected.

Aver suggested we play chess, thats kinda my turf. We did. Within a few moves I threatened his king which will end in the death of his his queen. He surrendered by scattering the board to my amusement. Ii didn’t do much today really. That’s why I didn’t write much either. Could it be that marsians wiped clean my memory? Well you figure out something

Dear Diary: Sunday March 3 2013
Im up like 3:43am. I lazed about on the bed till morning. Ibe left early in the morning to God-knows-where. I started writing my appeal letter to my school coordinator. I planned going to MBA school Yaba to get a sample of correct format of addressing the letter, I dint want to call anybody. I dressed up much later and left for church.

I got to the church and decided to polish my shoe with the abokis near the church premises. But it took a helluva time for him to finish. Dont know if he was making a new shoe for me from the scratch. I asked him to apply gum to the flaking part of the sole, I guess he applied gum all over the sole. My body had to wait patiently outside while my mind worshipped inside via the church speaker blaring outside. The long wait eventually ended.

Today's service was both anointing and thanks giving service. It was wonderful. I left for Yaba. The heat is scary. No trace of the rain that fell last nite anywhere. I got what I went for at Yaba. I bought sports shorts from Yaba and left Yaba. Next port of call was Shoprite. I wanted to buy my favourite seafood paella rice. It wasnt ready so my man on the inside said I should wait like twenty minutes. So I strolled towards the window of Gems shop in The Palms. In all the times I've been to The Palms, never bothered to look at the price tags of the jewelries on display. I checked the earrings and saw 9900 and I thought it was 99000. Then I was like N9900 is a fair price for those earrings. Then I saw it. I saw the currency sign $! The pair of earrings is freaking $9900!!

I really hate with destructive passion when price of items in Nigeria are dominated in a foreign currency. If Im the law, I would've outlawed it with a scary stiff penalty for defaulters. Ok now its more than twenty minutes, let me go check my food mehn and get the hell outta here. I figured my idle suspicious presence out the window of the gem shop aroused the curiosity of their security. I laugh!! I went back to Shoprite waited a little while and my order was served by my guy, I paid and left. Ceaser called me to remind me about our Sunday evening football game, I told him I wanst sure I'll make it. I ate the at our office and went home with the state of mind of going to play ball. I called Ceaser and he has changed about the game, he is taking a nap instead.

I rested a few minutes. Then I soaked some clothes to wash. Immediately I finished soaking the clothes PHCN took light. I wasn’t about to be discouraged by that you know. I lit up my spare phone and used the light like a hunter tied to my head. After washing I showered and went to Cherrie's place to tell her the good news that she is no longer needed in my life. I was fuming a little. She wasnt around, I waited till she came and the rest was an awkward history. I tried to project calm and nice me regardless of the exact opposite feelings suffocate me within. She took a nutty picture of me yesterday before she humongous annoyance she made me feel. Though I wouldnt want her to have such pix even if she didnt piss me off.

I asked her to delete not that I couldnt have deleted it myself. I just wanted her to respect my wishes and do it herself. So I asked her nicely while holding her phone if she has deleted it? And she flipped. It was so unbelievable to me. She struggled for her phone with me, I eventually let her have it. Then she goes ''If not deleting the picture will cause quarrel that she wont delete it. If its the only reason I came to see her she wont delete it'' For the first time I saw a very stubborn obstinate vixen, and it saddened me greatly. Was I stupid for believing she will reason with me and delete it? I coulda deleted it quietly when I took her phone without letting her but still I asked if she had removed it. She was like ''Its her phone she can do whatever the hell she damn well pleases with it'' I said you forget its my picture. I thought for a moment and decided to let her have her way. I told her Im leaving and she can do whatever she wants with the picture I dont give a damn anymore.

I stood up to leave and she barricaded the doorway. Thank God Im not hot tempered otherwise I woulda smacked her outta my way like pesky fly. Suddenly she wants to dialogue. Seriously?! That mad stubborn obstinate vixen has made a royal way for a loyal lamb. She asked for five minutes, I later agreed to five minutes only. When the proverbial five minutes prolonged indefinitely, I didnt know. She said alot things. Some of them were true. Some made sense to me, some didnt. Some touched me deeply and made me feel guilty.

Our problem was deeply rooted in miscommunication. Then she started crying. Tears, provided they are not crocodile tears when shed for the right reason always leaves me unimaginably weak. I had to cuddle her and talk to her. Apologies. Apologies. It flew back and forth. Now she's asking me to stay the night. Look at me, looking at turnout of events. I didnt tell her its over like I planned but through out talks we have accepted it calmly. She will travel to east to school of course. To cut the long story short I slept there. Yeah there was a lota smooching but no sex. Man proposes, God laughs and disposes. Who woulda thought it will end like this.

I jogged this morning, it’s been a long while. Contrary to my fears I didnt get tired easily but I took it easy. I read my devotional after I showered. I relaxed a bit then went over to Ceaser's. There I had my breakfast which was yam and egg. We played drought and he beat me three times. He has been practicing with some bad players like he's going for a competition. The result was expected. Its so hot inside and equally hot outside. There's breeze outside but it blows mostly hot air. I came back home and slept real good. Mehn it was so energizing. Thank God for sleep. I woke up in the evening. Ibe and his wife went out to God-knows-where.

I called Cherrie to come around. She came much later. We talked about this and that. Then she started with her whining, complaining, too much attention seeking attitude. Going on and on about her observation and the mountain she expected from me and how she is getting a tree stump like she is perfect without flaws. She has flaws, I dont dwell on it. I have observed she keeps malice and is vengeful. She didnt meet my expectation too. She ended up annoying me to the roots of my being. Scopium has had enough. I have had enough. Me, myself and I have had enough. This bad rubbish is getting a good riddance from me for good. In the middle of the arguments she stormed to the door that she is leaving, I didnt bother stopping her and she was like ''so you are letting me go?'' In my mind I was like ''you freaking think I'm gonna beg you? Not today girl'' I've really had it with you.

I have never met a personality like hers before, frankly I dont need such unnecessary difficulty. Later she said she was leaving. This time she announced it unlike storming to the door, I said okay. It was a few minutes after nine, I didnt see her off. Im closing this chapter, woe betide who dares open it. Ibe and his wife came back a few minutes later just before the rain started to fall. The rain was on my side cuz it washed away any trace of her in my life.

Woke up late. Read my devotional and prayed the lord's prayer. I got alot of shit to do today. I gotta wash, clean up etc. Oh boy Im feeling lazy about it. 'No escaping dude' Thats my mind taunting my body. Finally got the strength to do it. Dont ask me where I got it from. Maybe from a kyubi. I always feel like a load is lifted off my shoulder anytime I get all my clothes clean. Time check, a little before two o'clock. I ate beans with fried coarse cassava grains mixed with sugar then saturated in water. In simple english I drink garri with the beans.

Left the house to see Gabriel. I missed them by a few minutes. Gabriel and Aver went to the church for rehearsal against tomorrow's church service while Blessing was at the shop. I went to Doctor's shop instead. The weather was unapologetically scorching hot. At least my clothes won’t have any excuse not to dry fast. There was power outage as usual but Doc has a way of tapping into his neighbour's electricity when this particular neighbour turns on his generator. So Im in luck cuz I cant imagine how hot his shop will be with the intensity of the sun. I went into the inner partition plugged my phone to charged, stationed the fan directly on me and then dozed off. I have no idea how long I slept.

Few minutes after my ship sailed in from slumberland Gabriel a.k.a. Ceaser came from the church. We went to the his house played couple rounds of game of drought or should I call it checkers. I never drew once let alone win. Im not surprised. Im not good at the game. But if it were chess, the outcome would've been very different in my favour. Later in the evening we went for a leadership program he invited me to at Ikoyi. Ceaser and Tony sat at one section while me and Aver sat at an obscure section. Not like we planned it, that was where ushers ushered us to. A few speakers spoke.

Light refreshments went round. Refreshments like cocktail, juice, and finger foods. Bad luck, for us the finger food dint get to us. Just as they were serving our section of the hall Ceaser sent a whatsapp message to Aver that we should go. Aver had already complained of being bored and sleepy. I was kinda not feeling the whole event because of poor audio from the mic or speaker. The temperature in the small hall was very unfriendly. It was the chilled cocktail that served as a coolant to my system otherwise I would've been baked. We left afterwards.

Another guy Sunkami joined us to Falomo bridge Ikoyi where we dropped him and Tony. The guy needed a little change like N200 for transport fare from Ceaser and four of us (Ceaser, Aver, Tony and me) almost disappointed him, can you imagine that. Ok Aver provided the money for tollgate and just has N100 left. Tony just had enough to get him home. I had N1000 note and N90 but no change. Ceaser said he dint have money. Im guessing he dint have spare N200 and dint want to give above that. Finally we gave Aver's N100 and my N90 problem solved.

We got home. I stayed at Ceaser's place for a while. He beat me some more at the game.I got home and just slept off.

My Diary: Saturday 16-02-2013
Woke up early cuz I gotta run today. I made it Lekki on time but we started the run late. Today we did '15km' not the usual 10km. Im not really sure I did the full 15km cuz of the route I took. Today's running wasnt so good for me. First my stomach ached like mad just after I started. I had to endure the pain till it stopped. Next I felt so weak. I had to stop to reenergize, something I have never done before. Anyway I still did the run and finished gallantly.

But afterwards I was so tired. I was supposed to see Enque today at Ozone, mehn can I make it in this state? Who knows! We already spoke and she wasn’t taking any rain check as usual so Im not about to do same either. Don’t even know what to wear. Well Imma rock my blue jean shirt and black jean trouser but mehn its freaking hot to dress like. Unfortunately I dont have a choice. I relaxed a bit at Lekki before heading. I was extremely tired.

Got home showered and headed out. When I got home though, the room was smelling like filth and my door was locked from inside by Ibe or his wife, how come? They always accused their last daughter Praise of always locking the door, Praise is no longer here. Did Praise come from the east to lock the door? Traffic wasnt much but the sweat was expected. Finally I made it to Ozone at e-Center Yaba. As expected, Enque is yet to arrive. She hates to wait for someone at places like this. She said she hates to wait around like she has no job. But its perfectly ok for me to wait around like I had no job now. I waited some more before she showed up.

Meanwhile I feel so sleepy and tired. We chilled at chicken republic and chatted about this and that. It was really nice to see her. Cough catarrh still worrying though it allowed me to enjoy myself with Enque. Now its time for us to head home. I took Obalende bus from Yaba, she took the bus going her way. We ran into this terrible traffic along Lekki Epe expressway from second roundabouts. We crawled till we got Nicon Town estate when the road freed up. Though I slept through most of the way just to reduce the agonizing impact of the traffic, I still feel sleepy. I feel like Im drunk. I was only able to sleep in the night.

Woke up. Prayed. I was supposed to go to Lekki for my Saturday road warrior run around 6:30 pm but because I went to bed hungry last night, I didn't want to faint during the run. I will run next, hopefully I will have dinner on Friday. Still bitter. Not happy. Not talking much. Washed my clothes, damn it was extra tiring today. Didn't do all the cleaning I had already planned. I had a hair cut too. So freaking hungry. I ate twice at a restaurant, I rarely does that.

This people that held my personal space hostage didn't quite behave like there was food in the house. Neither did I bother to check. Since my kitchen was taken over, I don't know my right or left in there anymore. I came back to the house and caught them eating their usual indomie noddles and I went out again. I don't like indomie noddles, I prefer chiki-chiki noddles. Went to Cherrie's place around 4:18 pm to have a descent peaceful nap because that is an impossibility at my place.

It was hot but thanks to the universe PHCN brought light so I just relaxed on the bed in her absence till around 5:30 pm. And the mothership of disappointment is, Suggy didn't visit as planned. I'm yet to call to find out why since I dint get any call. Why would she do this? I looked so much towards seeing her today. I called all her numbers around 8:38 pm and they were switched off, what could this mean? Its so frustrating. I watched a couple more episodes of bleach, I finished season 9.
