Wool And Prince Shirt That Needs No Washing Even After 100 Days Of Continuous Us
That is incredible stuff. No wash shirt for all those lazy brothers that find
it very torturous to wash their shirts lol. Sometimes I belong to that group
lol naaah Im just kidding. I know a thorough-bred lazy dude who is a perfect
and permanent life time member of this club.

A New York City start-up Wool & Prince is peddling a men's button-down
wool shirt that the company says never needs washing and won't smell,
even after 100 days of continuous use, including after a sweaty 5-mile run.

Cutting-edge clothiers Wool & Prince says it has put the wool used in this
'no wash' shirt (still in the prototype phase) through a special process that
makes it soft to the touch, resistant to wrinkles and odour-repellent.

Wool & Prince's no wash shirt doesnt smell? But that means people will
be walking around with dirty shirts which might cause skin diseases

I got up early but almost went to church late. I wanted to quickly do a few things on the internet and before you know it I got carried away. Im sure you know and understand how easily one can get lost on the vast infinite ''Webland'' called internet.

I just rushed everything on the double and went to church glad I made it on time. I volunteered to teach from the Open Heavens in the next worker-in-training class. The Sunday began seamlessly. The choir did a number that shook the entire exceptionally. We sang the song over and over again. Service was wonderful. There was a youth meeting after service but boy I didn't wait for that. Im pressed and hungry. Not like Im going to eat when I get home cuz my fast ends by 3:00pm today, a full 7 days fast. I went home.

I stayed indoors and worked on my lappie. There was this idea I had of a unique kind of social network site, I started working on what it will look like yesterday. I’ve not decided on the name yet but I have something in mind. I want to create something that will boast of more users than Facebook. Im not a web designer I was doing a PowerPoint to make the idea more picturesque, understandable and sellable to a potential investor or a web designer.

How time flies when you are having fun or busy at work. It was way past 3:00pm when I only ate a piece of chicken from the stew. I ate proper meal around 4:00pm. Before that I did a little clean up in the kitchen. The filth-friendly lifestyle of Ibe and his wife has brought a terrible cockroach infestation. I’m still unable to eradicate the menace. I remained indoors for the rest of the day. I looked at the Open Heavens for next week, yes its me going to take the Open Heavens.

Thank God for another day. I slept late last night, not so late actually. But the sleep was so sweet I didnt wake up early, probably because today is Saturday. No work today. Amara is travelling today, her lateness habit is at full power this morning. From the depths of my heart I find it deeply grossly annoying. Her case is past praying for. This is what Igbos call ''o biri na aja ocha''. It literally means it ends with the white sand, white sand representing grave. The phrase simply means whatever the person is referring to is ''INCURABLE!'' She can never change. God forbid I get used to that lifestyle.

The people she was supposed to go with have been waiting for her and she is yet to take her bath. She took her eventually and is running back and forth to dress up. I went into the bathroom just as I was about leave the room. She thought I was gone and almost went semi-nude trying to dress up. I vacated the room for two reasons, first its irritating seeing her go through her routine lateness last minute more haste less speed approach to preparing for an appointment. Second, to give her privacy. Primary reason is the first.

I have to be at the church 8:00am this morning for sanitation activities against service tomorrow. I just waited for her commotion to be over and the air of her commotion to clear out before I took my bath and headed to the church. She was supposed to cook stew but she didnt, so Ibe told me about it as I was leaving. The sanitation didnt hold, it had already been done yesterday. Boy am glad to hear it? I went to Caesar's place. His boss called him to come inspect a job in the office,  I went with him. It didnt take long like he assured me. We proceeded to their church for a youth meeting. The youth meeting was supposed to start by 10:00am. We got around 9:49am and no one was around he decided to go home get some breakfast and come back. I’m still fasting.

I went home with him for breakfast was some sort of torture. We got home he prepared corned flakes for two, apparently he forgot I was fasting. I politely reminded him. After breakfast we went back to the church Victory Inheritance Mission for the meeting. It was anything out of the ordinary. After the youth meeting light refreshments and food followed. I had to parcel my food to the car. Times was few minutes past one, my fast ends by 3:00pm. Caesar had an engagement to MC a couples’ event in church later in the evening, he was anxious to leave and get prepared for that event. He asked me to accompany him to Lagos mainland to buy an outfit for the event, what do I have to lose? Off we go.

At Ikate roundabout we saw an accident that just happened, one person was still struggling to crawl out of the bus. We stopped and rushed over to help. It wasnt a fatal accident but almost everybody had one minor injury or the other except one guy. He had a really nasty deep cut on his left shin. We tried to make everybody fill a bit comfortable in their pain. We left as an ambulance approached. The ambulance passed the scene of the accident and parked a little distance away. Now we dont know if the ambulance came for the accident victims or was it going somewhere else?

At Lekki roundabout there was much traffic, at this point we turned back. Cuz there's no way we can make it back on time for the event with such traffic. He bought a pair of trousers and a shirt at Igbo Efon instead. He called one tailor who’s really good at amending clothes who had been elusive to me for quite some time now to amend the new wears he bought. I took that opportunity and rushed home, packed all the clothes that I need to amend. It is still not 3:00pm so my stomach bites. The tailor did a fairly neat job for a tailor of his nature. I went home and finally ate. It felt really good. I stayed indoors throughout the rest of the day.

Ibe wasn’t around. When he came back in the night, he cooked the stew.

Shoprite Security Lapse Thursday April 18 2013
Another day another dollar. Every time I wake I go first praise the lord. I rolled from edge to edge on my bed for a while before mustering the strength to get up and out. I prepared for work. My boss and Ifeanyi leaves for South Africa today, leaving me behind. I got to work, it looked as if they had already been raptured to SA. I came late but no sign of any of them. Ifeanyi came later. His visa was still not ready, providing a slim ugly chance of him not going to vuvuzela land. He didn’t really trust MD can pull it off since his visa isn’t ready yet. It’s a 50-50 situation. He says either way it goes, it’s good for him but I know that’s just a consolatory talk. He is dying to meet South Africa. In the meantime, we just gisted. We talked about any and everything mostly secondary and university juvenile lifestyles and experiences.

Around twelve, we left the office. He dropped me off at the bank and went home. I deposited some money, no queue whatsoever. I branched at Shoprite to get ma meal. Chris called me to let me know he has food in the house in case I wanna eat. Oh well I had grabbed my food at Shoprite though I haven’t paid yet. One amazing security lapse thing happened. As I was taking Chris' call I wandered leisurely out of Shoprite with the food in my hand. I moved a few distance safely away from the doors of Shoprite then my eye caught my hand. I was like why didn’t I put the food in a nylon bag then it dawned on me that I didn’t pay. I reversed immediately back to the shop. Nobody noticed what happened I believe. What happened to their security? If I were that kinda person I woulda been long gone.

I went back to the office. MD came to the office around 12:00 noon. He is gearing up for the trip. Ifeanyi's visa is still not ready, he may miss the trip. Just when hope seems to be lost, it was found again. The visa finally got approved at the dying minute. With that they left for the airport leaving me and Chris in the office. I went home early, why wouldn’t I? Caesar wasn’t back from work yet, Doc travelled so I went home straight.

Ibe and Amara weren’t at home. No food in the house, not that I gave money for food. I lay down reading on my phone. Amara came in around 10:00pm, she called Ibe with my phone to know his whereabouts. Ibe came in much later in the night drunk reeking nauseatingly of alcohol. He prepared noodles by himself, ate and went straight to bed in that stench without bathing. Yep, another chapter in the story of my life, episode things that my eyes see. I browsed a little on my lappie cuz I went home with the office internet modem before bowing gracefully to slumberland throne.

Charity Wednesday April 17 2013

Slowly but surely the year is ticking by. I woke 30 minutes ahead of my alarm. Now I wake my alarm and not the other way round. I go to work early these days too. As I was dressing up to leave, Ibe offered me fruits. I ate apple and carrot before leaving. There was a bit of traffic, it has become a recurring decimal in the morning unlike before. It was when I got to that I realized how easily I fell into the temptation of eating the apple and carrot in the middle of my fast. It never crossed my mind at all in the morning. Oh damn! How could I have forgotten?

This is what Igbos call ''Ihe oma na-asa afo'' meaning a good deed that purges the stomach literally. I prayed I should make such mistake again. The South Africa trip is for tomorrow so we were putting finishing touches to their plan. A plan that left me out. I prepared a few letters, scanned a few documents, worked on my blog, etc. I spent some time trying to think. I did think but I’m not getting any vibes yet. I don’t even know which particular dimension to channel the thought. Our office is located in an office complex housing other offices.

Earlier when I went to Mr. Tunji's office for a particular document, I noticed one woman carrying a baby along the passage. I didn’t think anything about the sight. I lost track of the time that passed before I saw her again. This time I was coming into the compound and she was leaving. She approached me and asked for N1000. All I had in my pocket was N1000. First I was like this woman has some nerve to ask me for N1000 commonly like she was asking for N10. Oh well judging how good I look and dress, N1000 should be nothing for me right. I probably own one of the cars littering the compound. At that moment that was my all but I had a very strong faith that God will provide.

I paid attention to her because I have seen her before. I don’t know what her mission was though. If it were those boys/girls, men/women that hang on the roadside begging as a full time profession, I wouldn’t have looked at her. Those crooked professional beggars make hard for you to know who is really stranded and needs help. Because of that, I always ignore those roadside beggars that keep begging for money to complete their transportation fare. I gave her N500 cuz the money was two N500 notes. I could've given less if it were in lower denomination.

Later around 3:30pm Ugo gave me cheque for N19000 to cover the money aero took from me during the booking that went wrong. Instantly I remembered the N500 I gave away. Going spiritual now, this could be my reward for giving out N500 lol. Call it good karma. It was late to cash the cheque today so it triumphantly entered my to-do list chart for tomorrow at the numero uno spot.

Tuesday April 16 2013
I’m getting used to my new 5:00 am wake up alarm. It takes a strong resolve to do stuff you know. I often just shut up the alarm consciously or unconsciously before. I do my laundry myself for now. I soaked a few shirts I will wash later before going to work. I did my ritual of reading Open Heavens and praying. Then I washed out the shirts. While I was washing around a few minutes after Ibe and Amara had already started eating. Mine has been dished too. I couldn’t eat it because I was fasting but I didn’t tell them that.

I hit the road that will take me to the office. I got there on time. I had this strong urge and thirst to drink water, eat cashew nuts then my spirit reminded me that dude you are fasting. I don't need to explain to you that fasting is a religious practice of going without food in order to strengthen your spirit and subdue your flesh. The temptation to taste something was strong, thank God I overcame.

MD came to the work with two brand new identical Windows 8 HP laptops bought by his wife. One for him and one for their second son. He brought it to me the supposed IT guy to configure it. Computers and IT has always fascinated me. I just realised it late, otherwise I would've studied computer related course. I'm still thinking about getting a second degree on that. Configuring gadgets is second nature to me. People often come to me to configure their new phones and stuff. Maybe I should a configuring agency or something. Now what name will I call the configuring outfit? Let's see. Chronicle Configuring Hotspot, lol.

Most part of the configuration is piece of cake to me. But I must say Windows 8 navigation sucks to me. I explored the laptop like I usually do. I set username and passwords, I checked out Windows store, Skydrive (similar to dropbox and serves as a backup), installed drives, etc. MD left for meeting afterwards.

I configured the laptops. Ifeanyi represented our office at meeting for office complex to discuss major issues affecting the complex like power, water, parking, etc. The meeting really lasted a long time judging by when he came back. Unless he had a little detour after the meeting.
