Friday June 14 2013: Today is World Blood Donor Day!
This year' theme is "Give The Gift Of Life: Donate Blood" In the same light I plead the blood of Jesus Christ for the world. That blood is ever sufficient. The blood of Jesus doesn't discriminate. That blood is compatible with any blood group. The blood of Jesus Christ protects those who believe in it. The blood washes away all sins, infirmities and life misfortunes. If you haven't subscribed to the blood of Jesus, please hurry before it's too late.

Nigerian Danfo Bus Experience
I stayed up from around 2:00am till a few minutes after when I dozed off. I knew I was going to pay by waking up late in the morning and I did. I washed a few boxers, showered and off to work. I shared the front seat with an elderly lady. The gentle Nigerian bus conductor forgot to ask me for money. I gave it to him nevertheless. The woman noticed it and commented on it. The bus conductor couldn't get my balance cuz I gave him N500 note. She offered to pay for me instead to save the poor guy the trouble. I thanked her.  Its one of the nice Nigerian danfo bus experience.

The day moved really fast. I bought a bottle of champagne and red wine for a little get together at Dalu’s place. We work hard, it's only right we play hard. Later in the evening we went over Dalu’s place. We were the first to arrive. Light refreshments started immediately. I love the ambiance of his place. His wife is a very beautiful young looking lady. You can’t even tell she has two boys! On top of that, I hear she got great behaviour and attitude deposited in her.

Exquisite Home Air Refresher
There were so many different kinds, designs and makes of air refreshers, the house smelt like olfactory orgasm. The smell for a first timer is so exotic and will instantly influence your mood as it plays on your memories and fantasies of wonderful things. I’m sure they are accustomed to the smell by now. He has really beautiful art works, not many as to be a clutter. Family pictures were part of the decorations too. You can’t miss them. It is just an exquisite setting. I'm seriously thinking of starting an air refresher business.

Party Food/Refreshments And Discussions
Slowly the place got filled up. Then the food came out. More drinks came out. I don't even know all the people here. The alcohol keep flowing, Dalu's two boys refused to go to bed. I ate the much I can. I also drank the much I can. My calories level must’ve shot up by now. Luckily I belong to the club that wants their calorie up though I run with the club that wants their calorie down. There were so many groups discussing different topics of interest, mostly money. In this setting you can exchange privileged valuable information to help each other’s business or career.

Men's Six Pack Talk
Imagine my surprise when I stumble on a group of grown men discussing Craig David's six pack buffed picture on Linda Ikeji Blog! You guys visit Linda's blog too? Which spell is Linda using? I have a blog too you know! I saw that post on her blog but ignored it. It's amazing the huge response from readers on abysmally shallow posts. The internet culture is a funny one, you'll be surprised the age bracket that sieve through Linda Ikeji's Blog daily on their internet journey.

All good things come to an end. People left at different times depending on individual's convenient time. I don't even know what time we left. I slept at my brother's place.

Call To Action
Based on what I shared with you today take time to unwind from everyday stress. Take vacation if you will. It's a healthy lifestyle, live healthy. Investment in your health is very essential and should come first. Don't over indulge in wining and dining to avoid creating medical situation for yourself. Put some air refreshers in your home and make it smell sweet, fresh and inviting to you and your guest. Hit the internet once in a while free useful information abound there.

Working From Home, Family Are On Vacation
Friday June 07 2013
Here is a little weather class about Nigeria. We have two major seasons in Nigeria which is the Rainy/Wet and Dry/Harmattan season. Simply put, rainy season brings the rain and the dry season brings no rain hence dryness/dust and harmattan. We are in the rainy season now. The intensity of the rain and harmattan varies from region to region. Lagos is a notorious flood prone state. Its rain can be a real pain in the axx. The rain comes down and the flood goes up. It rained heavily last night. Honestly I didn't know how much it rained till I went outside......and the waters covered the sea. So if you want to enjoy Lekki, be wary of the season.

The rain was indeed heavy! I must go to work regardless, whether by boat or submarine since I don't have a car yet. I wore rain boots and waded jungle style through the flood, past the flood to Doc's shop where I changed back to my normal shoes and hit the road. Ifeanyi was driving out as I was coming in. He was playing his music at usual loud volume though his windows are tight shut. Personally, I don't like putting my eardrums through tremendous stress of very loud volume. It is torture. Besides its a health hazard as it can cause hearing loss. We went to MD's house, that will be work office today.

Work From Home, Family on Vacation
My boss' family travelled so his once rowdy house was very conducive for intellectual work. Family is a lovely thing but can be a distraction when you want to work from home. i think I need me a vacation with the family too. We ate breakfast and lunch at the house, call it benefits of working from the house. We had a real long discussion regarding mostly Ifeanyi's rent and mine.

My boss made some comments which I found a bit improper. Ifeanyi didn't take them lightly too. Cuz by the time he got home, he sent a resignation letter via email. I'm gonna miss him, he's a nice guy. I did a few bank runs and back. I worked on the presentation again with my boss and got a better copy. I'm 100% sure by tomorrow it won't look very good to him. I went home. I went straight home not branching anywhere besides where I bought suya. I ate my suya and viju milk and dozed off.

How The Succubus Attacked On Friday Night!
Last night sleep turned out action-packed. It was action-packed in scary way. It's frighteningly amazing how you don't know what goes on when you are asleep. The phrase ''sleep is the cousin of death'' captures it clearly. Have you ever wondered how or why you never know the beginning of your dream, you realize it’s a dream after the dream advances. It does puzzle me. Or why do we wake up from a nightmare sweating? Does the struggle in the dream use your energy in the physical? There are so many things about sleep and dreams that man doesn’t know and may never know.

From where I can remember, I closed my door as my new neighbour Deborah came in. She went straight to the bed. I was like it's gonna be good time. I didn't expect that anyway but I gotta take advantage of the opportunity. She teasingly took off her shirt revealing a small singlet. I joined her on the bed, a gleam of excitement in my eye, fully testosterone energized in anticipation of the pleasure to come. We were not naked though.

She got on top of me wearing the most seductive and teasing smile and said in cold lifeless tone; ''You have no idea who you are getting involved with and you still go ahead to do it'' Then I notice her upper body elongating like a snake. I knew then that this was a dream, to be precise a nightmare. I started screaming the powerful name of Jesus, Blood of Jesus. I was screaming my lungs out but the sound was drowned. I continued to scream and struggle to get off her grip and ultimately to wake up.

With all ounce of energy I was forcing my eyes to open. It was like trying to use my mind to pull down a reinforced brick wall. I didn't give up fighting for my life. Then my eyes opened. I was sweating and panting. I felt like a huge weight was bearing crushingly down on me. The crushing feeling gradually left me. I looked around the room forensically like a spiritual CSI expert. I didn't see anything out of the ordinary physically but I felt like something extraordinary just left the room. I was dazed for a while trying regain my composure. I kept wondering why did the succubus attack me?

How The Succubus Attacked On Friday Night!
According to medieval folklore, a SUCCUBUS is a demon that takes the form of a woman in order to have intercourse with a man in his dreams. The name comes from Old Latin, and means “to lie under.” In Islamic superstition, there is a similar demon called the qarinah or karina, and in ancient Middle Eastern cultures Lilith was the night demon's name. Whichever name is used, the essential qualities are the same: a demon who tempts men sexually at night and who tries to kill infants at birth.
The Bible in Proverbs 2:18-19, describes the dangers of the seductress or “strange woman” which is similar to SUCCUBUS.

I read somewhere that ‘SUCCUBUSES’ are drawn to those that are going through a “Emotionally Struggling” period in a guy’s life. One thing was really disturbing.  Am I emotionally struggling? Why did I see Deborah's face? Again why did this succubus attack? She has been to my room a couple of times. She has used my fridge to store her food, drank water from my dispenser, etc. I have never hit on her and don’t really intend to. I prayed about the dream seriously. Towards the end of the prayer I started to drift a bit, I used all my energy to focus till I finished the prayer and slept off immediately. I didn’t dream again.

Why Did The Succubus Attack?

MTN Nigeria Service Is Freaking Annoying! Friday May 31 2013
2013 is gradually running out. Today is 31 May already! How time flies. This time last year I closed my eyes, endured and ignored all the excesses of Ibe and family and we all lived happily ever after. But on another realm their excesses kept chipping away at my patience. I wonder where he is. I wonder how he is doing. He hasn't posted any sublime status on Facebook or I missed it. Not like I'm tracking his sublime status updates lol. I don't make it habit of going to his page to see something that don't add value to me rather it diminishes the value I placed on him.

I read my open heavens and prayed. I took my bath and went to my place earning a living. I was the first. I shot some hoops with our waste paper basket first then cleaned up the place. Ifeanyi came moments after the place was all cleaned up. Immediately he challenged me to our usual hoop contest lol. I extended the distance to make it more interesting. And that was how I dug my own grave. I scored first but he beat me the worst way, 7-1! The game ended at 9-5. He went to bring MD to the office from his house. I’m off to the banks already. I had to cash a cheque so the mechanic can be paid. The mechanic gave me a small cut out his pay, that’s generous of him today.

For months for me, MTN Nigeria service has been freaking annoying. I went to MTN office at The Palms from the bank. This is the third time I’m going to their office for the same issue not being able to call or text despite having airtime on my phone. I always meet a different person each time I go there. The lady that served me today actually was the best. She knows the problem very well and also knows the crude option MTN is forcing people to take instead of resolving the issue. She explained it’s a data problem. She said MTN has instructed them to shove two options down the throat of their customer, if the customer doesn’t like it he/she can go hug an electricity transformer. I added the go hug a transformer part. Option one is that MTN is forcing you to subscribe to a data plan, it could be daily, weekly or monthly.

I think for MTN, the customer is always wrong.

MTN is a greedy wicked criminal company. I don’t want any data plan. I’m perfectly okay without a plan, why force me to take a plan instead of investing in your infrastructure to give customers worth for their money? The other option was to turn of data usage on your phone. I browse on my phone why would I do that? MTN you make me sick. I so wish I can sue you right now. Every time there is a fault it always the customer that suffers. MTN Nigeria service is freaking annoying! I’m so pissed with this company right now.

I left their office really mad, if only our government is effective to sanction this bastard company. I gotta cal my nerves before I go kamikaze on them. I bought some soft drinks and went to Ugo’s house. He called earlier letting me know they moved to the house because of power issue at the office. I ate there. We worked from there. He gave me and Godwin N15,000 and N25,000 respectively as part payment of our salary. The rest comes on Monday.

Work closed early today, I like it. Golf game is on tomorrow I don’t feel like going. Ugo wants me and Ifeanyi to come just help him with the kids. I don’t think I wanna do that. Let’s see how it goes. I went home had a good long sleep. Amara came around to cook soup. She prepared okra soup, I don’t like the way she prepares hers. She left some for me, I’m not sure what I’m gonna do with it yet. I appreciate the gesture.

I wanted to ask her about their plans to take their remaining things to wherever they sleep now. And also let her know I will be removing the spare key, in other words denying them access without permission, but I didn’t. Let me observe them some more before my final irreversible decision.

Observe In Silence, Action Tells All! Friday May 24 2013
The day started pretty fast and ended the same. Thank God I’m Favoured, its TGIF. I read my Open Heavens and prayed then left for work. At work I did a few out of office runs to the bank and other places. Some really took my time.

Observe In Silence, Action Tells All! Friday May 24 2013
I put up a Facebook status – Observe In Silence, Action Tells All! Few minutes later Ibe put his own, a reply to mine. Here’s what he wrote;

“THOT YOU SAID YOU WERE INEXPERIENCED??ACTION??? I PRAY DONT WATCH YOUR OWN FAMILY DIE IN YOU SO CALLED SILENCE! NOW THAT WONT BE HEROIC,WOULD IT”

Again what the heck is he talking about ‘inexperienced’ Is it one of his many made up phantom enemies? Whatever keeps the dude happy mehn. Just like Chazz & Jimmy on the song ‘Niggas In Paris’ by Jay Z and Kanye West that goes;

Jimmy: I don’t even know what that means
Chazz:   No one knows what it means but its provocative
Jimmy: No it’s not, it’s gross
Chazz:   It gets the people going!

M na-chufu nkita na nshi, owu mua ga-eri ya? Why should I chase a dog away from eating shit, am I the one going to eat the shit? I do my Facebook updates as the spirit moves not because I’m passing a subliminal message to him. I see or feel what I like I post it.

TGIF took place for the first time in our office. We left office around 3:00pm and went to The Pavilion in Lekki Phase 1. That is, me, Ugo and Ifeanyi. We had catfish pepper soup and three rounds of beer. Uncensored conversation ensued if you know what I mean. Fidelis joined us towards the end of our hangout. I'm not much of a cat fish pepper soup guy. Besides it wasn’t that great by my standard. They could've added utazi leaf for a spicier taste. After my three bottles of gulder lager beer I went over to the sea shore to look at coast line horizon. It was beautiful to me. I took some pictures. Actually this was my first time of taking three bottles of beer at a short seating. Not that I can’t hold the liquor but I always avoided it. I don’t derive any pleasure in drinking myself to stupor. Ifeanyi was like for a first timer at drinking three bottles at a go you did it like a pro. I am tipsy.

We all left at the same time. I stopped briefly to say hi to Doc. I went home some minutes past five o'clock. I noticed someone was in my room. I checked the kitchen, there was a half pot of rice on the stove. I drank water and slept off. My sleep was rudely cut short by the notorious sound of someone fiddling with the door lock again. It felt so dreamy in my half-awake half asleep state until I fully regained consciousness. The fiddling continued. Is it that the person doesn't know it is locked from inside or what? Can't the fiddler knock? Does the fiddler really want to damage the lock trying to force it open? Again what if I was enjoying myself with girl, the person will just barge in? I mean common sense is uncommon to these people. I got up still sleepy. Opened the door and went back to the bed.

Observe In Silence, Action Tells All! Friday May 24 2013
I saw only Amara when I opened the door. Moments later I heard Ibe’s voice. Don’t know when he entered. I see. I'm guessing they didn't think I'll be home by this time. They sneak in and out when they think I'm not home. I knew that Amara knew where Ibe was, I mean it's no brainer. You know for a guy that sent me that brainless text, spews trash on Facebook, he is really shameless to still come back to make use of my apartment. He has succeeded through his actions in poisoning my mind with considerable disdain for him. His actions silhouetted on light of morals. He showered. Don't know what his wife did and he noisily scolded her instantly. That mad noise shattered the revered serenity of my sanctuary. They cleared the rice in the kitchen disappeared into the night darkness to wherever they've been camping.

A call from Nkemakolam cleared the sleep from my eyes and the confusion from my head. I thought it was morning of the next day, I didn't know Friday was not gone yet. We talked about a couple stuff. Sleep didn't come easy again the rest of the night, I managed to sleep anyway.

Again what the heck is he talking about ‘inexperienced’ Is it one of his many made up phantom enemies? Whatever keeps the dude happy mehn. Just like Chazz & Jimmy on the song ‘Niggas In Paris’ by Jay Z and Kanye West that goes;

My eyes opened, it was morning. For an instant I suffered amnesia about last night's ordeal. Then the floodgate to the reservoir that holds the memory of torment crumbled down. My eye almost popped out of their sockets as it popped wide open in full realization of what happened. The visual vividness and clarity of every detail was scary. It was like I was reliving the night. If not for God’s mercy and grace, I wouldn’t have seen today going by what I went through last night. I read my Open Heavens and prayed with a deep sense appreciation and gratitude.

My boss is coming back today but I don't know when. I thought he will come back in the evening. My phone rang later in the morning, speak of the devil. My boss said he's back in Lagos and he needs me to do something. Yeah he always needs me to do something. I hurriedly showered went to work. In the office I browsed a little and focused on the presentation. It was tedious and annoying, you have no idea. Truth be told it wasn't all a waste of time cuz I learnt something on PowerPoint. I own the office today.

No sign of Ugo, Ifeanyi isn't coming, he made that clear yesterday. Ugo came back a few minutes after three. Now judge this situation. The task was to pay N65000 into a phone dealer's account for a Samsung galaxy, meanwhile he owes me N10000 part of my salary. He didn't pay me but he paid another dude. I made it clear to him before he traveled that I need that money badly. I hate it when people behave like that. It’s just God’s mercy and grace that is keeping me. I went to GTBank and the crowd rivaled Lagos population. GTBank has a network problem putting its service on agonizing delay. Deposit wasn't a problem, thank God for that. I put the money in, went back to the office.

I played three game of spider solitaire and went home. I went straight to Onye Mama's place rejuvenate myself. Boy I ate it gluttonously, maybe I broke Guinness record for shortest time spent eating garri and egusi-oha soup lol. Thank God for the food for his mercy and grace upon my life.I went to the house. I noticed two items I washed wasn't on the line. I wonder what happened to them or who took them in for me. The clothes were taken in after all. I asked Amara who did it, she said it’s like it was Ibe. That sounded rather strange to me but still I said he did a nice job. It is not his MO. I suspect she is just trying to put in a good word for him.

In all honestly, when his demons are asleep, Ibe can display a good core. He thinks or cares about others, he's willing to share whatever he has, he can try to motivate you, etc. He is also a big fat jerk and the jerk part casts a very long foul shadow. I changed and went to Doc's place to while away time. When my whiling away time mission was accomplished I went home to bed.

Two Loaves of Bread Friday May 10 2013
I slept late, despite that I woke up early. I just lay on the bed. An event occurred last night that really shook me up in a creepy way. My hatred for creepy crawlies knows no bound. I stayed up late watching Inuyasha movie on my laptop, there was no power. No candle was lit, Ibe and his wife were already asleep or pretending to be asleep. I wanted to lie on the bare floor. I cleaned the floor with a rag, then I lay down.

Read: Dear Diary: Wednesday 13-02-2013

I felt something move softly as if I lay on something. I thought maybe it’s just my imagination. I felt the light movement again now I thought maybe a mosquito. Each time I feel it I will arch my back up a little and slam it down to kill whatever it was. The third time I couldn’t just ignore or take it for granted anymore, I gotta see the creature behind the movement. I took my phone turned on the torch and sprang up quickly at the same time flashing my light at the perceived spot and my blood chilled. I couldn't believe my eyes! I saw a fairly large centipede. like I felt goose boulders not even pimples populate my entire body surface from head to toe. JEEZZ!!! How the freaking hell did this thing get in here?

Read: Fumigation Didn't Get Rid Of The Nigerian Mosquitoes, What Next?

Oh well I know a plausible reason how it could've gotten inside. The filth-tolerant habit of Ibe and his wife has already caused cockroach and ant infestation, so it’s no brainer how this centipede got a free pass into my house. I felt so restless. As a kid I feared this creepy crawly. I heard they have a very deadly sting. The thing disappeared immediately. Luckily it showed up again within my killing range and I delivered a crushing blow. The irritation was sending chilling frightening messages through my nervous system. I felt like there are more of them lurking in the dark. I couldn't sleep again. I googled about centipede in granular detail for a considerable amount of my sleeping time.

I threw away the corpse showered again and kabashed seriously. By kabashing I meant I prayed seriously before going to bed. It was a very horrible experience. Thank God it didn't bite me. I slept well considering my ordeal. It was the first thing I put on Facebook in the morning. Ibe and his wife went out to God-knows-where. I didn't tell them about my horrible experience, does it matter? I pray this horrible experience doesn't repeat itself.

I read the Open Heavens Devotional showered and left for work.

I got there on time, cleaned up the place. My boss and Ifeanyi came later with Ifeanyi being the last to come. Work progressed smoothly. I worked on my blog. I got some materials I want to use to rejuvenate my resume. I’m embarking on serious job hunt next week. It was a full house, Chris was in the office too.

Ifeanyi bought two loaves of bread but wasn't biblical enough to add five fishes to it. If only it was two loaves of bread and five fishes, we could've fed thousands of people. The was the only thing we ate throughout the day. We only finished one loaf though. I booked a Monday flight to Abuja for MD. He'll be gone for about four days. Up till now the triple play of Aero-GTBank-Interswitch are yet to refund my money. I sent them a fairly harsh letter threatening to take legal action if they don’t pay, don't know how long I can’t wait for them. Aero replied the letter immediately the delay or ineffectiveness/inefficiency was on GTBank's part. Same ol shit just a different day.

At the end of the day, one loaf still remained out of the the two loaves. I went home with it, you don't want the bread to spoil before Monday.

What is he saying?
Mehn! I didn't iron my clothes, no light. Oh yeah they brought light in the night but I was too involved, in love and devoted to my sleep to cheat on it to do anything else. I was so sleepy you have no idea. I fervently wished the power will still be on when I finally break free from the strong sleep spell. Unfortunately genie or the power that be didn't grant me that wish. I didn't know what to wear. I washed yesterday evening and the heaven blessed us with rain last night. The clothes on the line are still very wet.

I woke early but I was very late for church. I've never been this late before. I managed to figure out what to wear. We had the workers-in-training class then the service proper. The topic for the class was ''The Ministry Of Reconciliation'' A guest preacher ministered during the service. His topic was ''Foundations Of Giving''. It was very educative and incisive. He dint say anything about giving money to church in particular. It was humanity giving back to humanity/your neighbour in your own little way. It could be your time in any little way not necessarily money.

Swimming Session Sunday May 05 2013
Caesar and Ruth
I went home after service to fried plantain Amara kept for me. I ate it with bread and was grateful though I didn't thank anybody. I called Caesar to confirm if we were going for a swimming session, he confirmed. Later we went to swim accompanied by Ruth and her friend Folake. Caesar's girlfriend came along too. Ruth is fairly loaded on the boobs side and average ass while Folake is fairly loaded on the thigh and ass side with average boobs. Wait, is this piece of info necessary or just a TMI? You decide. Folake can’t swim at all. I took turns with Caesar teaching her. Initially she was hesitant and afraid but later she picked up. She loved it and vowed to even herself with subsequent lessons.

During the swimming session some naughty about Ruth's boobs and Folake's body was busy having their own swimming session in my head. I don't mind swimming in the though for a while lol.

We all had a good time at the pool. We left the hotel, dropped the girls off ate their place and went to Caesar's place. I ate yam pepper soup. It was really spicy, I likey! It was the only normal meal I ate for the day. He asked about Ibe. I told him we were in a soured and strained state right now. He shared an encyclopedia of his experiences squatting different set of people over the years and vowed never to do it again. He mentioned that the only I reason I still keep them is sympathy which is true. He said alot of things which made a lot of sense. After all is said and done, the decision lies with me. I went home

A Good Friend Rescued Me Friday April 26 2013
I’m not sure if I was ready for the day but the day was so ready for me. It rained last night. I didn't quite feel the effect in my melancholy mode/mood. At least I slept well. I needed to reconfigure my laptop to change a locked window user name. I don’t know how to go about it. So I planned to hijack Google all day till I get a solution. I did a little clean on my laptop first. I deleted some irrelevant files and also stumbled onto nude pix of someone I know. Seriously?!! Wonders shall never end! So this caliber of person takes nude photos and leaves it carelessly in somewhat public domain. I freed up some space on my hard drive. Ibe put a lot of heavy movies on the lappie I need to delete them. I never even watched any of them. They are really good at watching movies.

I left for work but first I went to PHCN office to make a payment. I trekked from my apartment to the PHCN office not like it’s that much of a distance. After paying I headed to the office. Internet? Check! Power? Check! Conducive environment? Check! Food? Ah uh no food today. So water? Check. I will go to the cash machine later. Accompanied by Google I started exploring relentlessly and voraciously every inch of web space with fine-tooth comb. The tons of information were expected though. Some were rubbish and some were rubies to me.

Finally I got a way around it. It's not 100% but I achieved the main objective, I can live with the other insignificant fix. I didn't have enough to copy back all the files I backed up but I can always do that any time. I was so engrossed in fixing this thing that I forgot to visit the atm machine. My transport fare is not complete though I can get home with amount. The closest atm, a Zenith bank atm was so crowded like it was faulty or something.

As I was leaving office I started a Whatsapp chat with a good friend of mine, Chioma my ex. I told her I was stranded and didn't have money to go home and she was like where are you? I’m like what? She is supposed to be in the east. It happened that she was in Lagos. She asked me to wait for her and she was coming from Obalende. I went to First bank atm and got some money out.

My long anticipatory wait for her initiated. She came after a long wait. It was good seeing her. An old friend ran into her at the bus stop. We boarded the same bus eventually. She paid for all three. As I was about get down at my bus stop she stylishly squeezed N1000 into my hand. I was grateful for that. I sent her a thank you whatsapp message. I went straight to Onye Mama's place to fill my tank. I went home showered and slept off in seconds.

Friday 19 April 2013

I’m alive. I realized this around 5:00am today. I ironed and read my devotional. I showered and left for work. I got to the gate, lo and behold I had left with no dime on me, jeez! That woulda been disastrous. I went back and collected some cash. I got to work early. Ifeanyi came in later. My boss was nowhere to be found. I thought he went for one of those meetings. He came much later. He sent me out with the driver to cash a cheque and duplicate some documents.

On our way back I bought food. I found out that hr pays the driver more than myself, it kinda pissed me off. Honestly the act is within the neighbourhood of what he is capable of. This is not the first time he'll do such time. I wonder what value he places on me. I am so determined to move on right now. I need and must find another source of livelihood. Without realizing it I found myself doing an audit of myself. I wasn’t too impressed regardless of the fact some people somewhere envies my achievement will give anything to be me.

Ifeanyi's cousin was throwing party, sorta like a spinster eve party tonight cuz his elder sister will be getting married tomorrow so road warriors were invited. Unfortunately I won’t go. I have a church night vigil to attend. I want spend quality time in the presence of the lord my maker and redeemer. My boss asked me to pray for wisdom to grow myself in addition to whatever I pray for. I really wished I didn’t have a vigil to attend, well God first. Gradually the day came to an end. I went home. I ate garri and egusi soup, it’s been a while since I last ate such meal.

There's new song I downloaded by The Scripts titled 'If You Could See Me Now', I have been banging the song. At some point in the middle of the song I got really emotional when I remembered my late dear lovely sister and tears just clouded my vision. I never shed a tear when she died nor during the burial. As a matter of fact I hardly shed tears when some dies. My heart will just be in pain but tears won’t leave my eyes. So three years after she The Script got me shed tears for my late sister through their song. I wonder dear sis, oh if you can see me now....

I gave my emotional high a few moments to come/calm down before I continued playing the song. I showered and chilled at home for a while before heading to church around 10:30pm. This was my first night vigil ever since I started my life. The vigil starts by 11:00pm. The opening prayer and praise/worship lasted from 11:00pm to 12:00am. Technically Friday has ended.

I woke up early around 2am to read. I read for about three hours before sleeping again. I woke up again around 7am. Read my open heaven, prayed showered and left for work. I'm supposed to go to school today. I need to print docket in colour. I stayed around till 11:30am before leaving for school. Traffic wasn’t that bad, I spend a excusable amount of time on the road. I went to Yaba office and the told me our forms have been sent to University of Lagos main campus. There was two signature spaces left. The process of signing is annoying, you go from one office to another.

First is bursary, next is the School of Post Graduate Studies department all in UNILAG main campus but at polar ends of the school. After that you go to the next town Yaba to sign and then come back to main campus again for the last signature. I find it very time consuming. Now I'm at Yaba waiting for the form to come back from the main campus. I thought all the signatures will be completed by the time the form comes back but it wasn’t. Are you kidding me? I had to go back to the main campus again. I have no choice. UNILAG SPGS knows how to give students school wahala. I did that.

When I came back to MBA Yaba office for final submission they gouged me of N5000 like others, giving it a fancy name. I went back to the office. It was late evening now. The food I bought from Shoprite was still in my knapsack when my boss asked if I had eaten. I said no, he gave me money to buy food. Fidelis his friend came around and they drank a bottle of champagne, they barely noticed I was there until they finished the bottle. I went home. Slept off immediately so I can read in the night.

Today is Good Friday for those of us who are Christians. Today is the day Jesus Christ was crucified over 2000 years ago. It’s also a public holiday in Nigeria. I love public holidays and bosses hate public holidays. Our worker-in-training class was moved Easter Sunday to Good Friday cuz there will be no regular church service at our parish this Easter Sunday. I prepared early today. I got there early. The session was refreshing. After the class I talked to pastor's wife regarding how I was dealing the untimely demise of dear and near friend a year ago. It was hard for me to forget cuz I felt like I abandoned her. And she sought to hear my voice even to the point of death. My pastor's wife counseled me. What she said was what I expected actually I just needed to talk to someone spiritual about it.

I felt easy share it with her cuz she reminded me alot about my literature teacher Mrs. Oyo back in secondary school. I enjoy the way she teaches. Mrs. Oyo made me fall in love with literature. She has legendary killer hips like Mrs. Oyo. She is fair complexioned like her. I went straight to eat at Onye Mama's place. It’s like my kitchen and the utensils are gathering dust and cobwebs, not much cooking activity goes on in there. That’s why I resort to eating outside. I went back to the house and had a good sleep. I was just like today is Sunday because of the worker-in-training class. Don’t know how long I slept but when I woke up, I went to the only cyber cafe in the area.

Their service is second to none in reverse. As expected, I couldn’t do anything useful as their connection went offline. I stayed a while waiting for them to fix it but in reality, I was just charging my phone. I went back home and slept some more. I didn’t go out again. All this time Ibe and his wife were out. Don’t know where they went to. Ibe came back dressed up and vamoosed. A little later the wife came back changed into another dress and vamoosed. I slept alone in the house.

Good morning beautiful, how was your night? Mine was wonderful. I read almost all the daily readings of open heaven devotional that I have missed except yesterday and today. I left for work. They sky was in a cool mood cuz it drizzled. I collected my share of the drizzle just anybody without umbrella. I continued with the account transaction of yesterday. Chris hasn’t shown up in the office for two days now. Hope he is okay.

We had a little TGIF at Sailor's Lounge in Lekki. Initially I wasn’t included in the plan. It was cool. A few nutty jokes. I enjoyed the sea breeze the most. I didn’t drink much though. Asuu here, chicken wings there, it was nice. Ify dropped me off. Im mentally getting myself ready for tomorrow's run so I set my phone alarm to an early wake up time. Went home straight. Mimi served me some food. I ate and slept immediately afterwards.

I woke up. More like my roomies woke me up with their hush-hush reading sounds. They are reading some articles regarding Amara's saladmaster training. She has been undergoing training for some time now. ''I need be at the venue by 9:00am'' There she goes again! A leopard cannot change its spot no matter how you use hypo bleach to wash it. She left the house around 9:30am. They had breakfast, the last noodles in the house. I went to the office late. Ifeanyi and Chris didn’t show up at all. I wonder what they are up to. The day was a bit dull but it went by quickly. I booked a flight for my boss back to Lagos. I worked on my blog. I went home.

I was up early but I left for office late. Im supposed to go to school today. I showered dressed up taking my time. No ritual yet again. In the office I put finishing touches to the letter. Chris was by his phone waiting for an alert from the bank. The lady had already sent her staff to go and deposit the money in Chris' account. The alert came and Chris zoomed off immediately to the wharf.

Just as I wanted to print the demon possessed the printer. It wouldn’t print. Forces are at work no doubt, is it forces of evil or good. After so many trials it finally printed one set. I wanted to go with two versions of two copies each. Now the second version refused to print. After a while it printed one good copy and one bad copy. The ink has finished.

Its mysteriously amazing to when these sorta things happen when Im desperate to do something. I muttered ''Devil is a liar'' like we usually say. This insignificant hiccup cant cripple my mission. I decided to go to with what I was able to print. Luckily the traffic situation was light. I wasnt surprised when I got to school and they pulled another surprise. These people wont cease to amaze me. I couldnt submit the appeal letter cuz I just learnt that I have to attach some other documents to it. That is just great! I got back to the office a bit disappointed. I didnt waste any more time in the office before calling it a day.

Smashing Wallpaper - march 13

Its a new month! Welcome everybody, what's shaking? Lets march on to success in this month of March. I neither read my devotional nor prayed today. I misused my time in the morning. I couldn’t make headway in the letter I wanted to write this morning when I woke up so I decided to watch something to clear my head. I chose Bleach anime to watch. I got carried away somewhere along the line.

I got to work on time. But there was no light. The generator was bad and PHCN was out of commission. The day dragged by slowly and painfully. I ran a few errands to the banks to make payments and also pay into my account. Also I went to Etisalat shop at The Palms to configure my boss' new ipad and back to the office. I slept to my heart content in the office. I was the only human around. It was a few minutes after three that the generator roared into life like a nightmare monster.

Ok my boss asked me to download a couple of songs unfortunately we've ran out of internet bandwidth. He called someone he knew from our ISP to give us internet connection while payment will be made later. This method is like a routine and it works like a charm cuz we always pay, we never default no matter what! I downloaded his songs as well as mine. They took the light just when one of my downloads reach 99%, that’s mean. My boss brought champagne to the office when he came but somehow we forgot all about popping it. It survived today to be popped another day. I left office almost straight to Cherrie's house but she wasnt around. I went home eventually. Mimi served me small food as I told her. I watched a few more episodes of bleach and then zzzzz.

Woke up around three o'clock and the dull nagging headache woke up with me as well. How long does this headache want to remain an illegal tenant in my head?  Im trying to think out a plan for today's activity. Left for work eventually, due to less traffic and fairly fast transportation I got to work before 9:00am. I did a couple minor office tasks. Then my boss asked me to prepare a presentation on insurance company with a template of 2007 AIICO insurance presentation. That means a lot of economic figures must've changed so I gotta research online or elsewhere to get them. I really did some work on that. You need to see the email my boss sent me to really really motivate/ginger/pump me up for the task. Here's the email below...

Nwab please update to today’s numbers.  Perhaps Ifeanyi can help you source current data on the insurance sector, particularly Lion of Africa which is different from Royal Exchange but both owned by the Odogwu's.  But this assignment is your baby.

Start work immediately.  You will get a piece of the action on this for delivery quality work.  You will use the money earned to pay your school fees, get a new place, get a car and get married.  Please do a good job of the graphics

I got a call from my coursemate Chika back in university. She was in the neighbourhood and was saying hello. She is a nice girl. Sometimes I wonder what if I marry her. Never mind I said that. Dont tell her lol. Oh well I don’t know her real real close. She came to submit her resume at one company. I went out to see her and we had a nice conversation as always. Her hustle muscle really inspired me. I felt like I've not really taken my employment situation really serious. May God bless our hustle in Jesus name, AMEN!! After that I went to the bank make some payment and back to the office. It was already evening. How time flies.
I went home afterwards.

My Diary: Friday 15-02-2013
I woke up early. That was a fake wake up because I drifted off and woke up late. My boss sent a text message at 8:24am that I should be very early in office. I didn't even see the text till after 9:00am when I hopped out of the bathroom. What excuse am I going to give him today. Yet again I didn't read Open Heavens Devotional this morning. I hit the road and noticed an unusual traffic, bingo! That's my excuse! Quickly I sent him a text about the bad traffic and that it might be a road accident. It actually turned out to be a road accident involving a danfo bus and a space wagon. The danfo bus drivers are as reckless as the okada (commercial motorcycles) friends. The two cars looked pretty banged up. I have no idea regarding casualties.

Read: Danfo Bus Experience

Finally I made it to the office. First to come, I thought my boss would already be there. Didn’t do much in the office. I downloaded this track ''Ome Nwanne'' by Kelly Handsome and I have been feeling the song die! It’s putting me deep in the igbo mood, if you know what I mean. Its a high-life song with lyrics mostly in igbo I left for Caxton-Martins office to pick up company incorporation documents for Ben. Traffic was light on my way going but it was a different a story coming back. It felt like eternity sitting in the bus for a long time under the hot sun. It was like torture. Its always like torture especially when its a commercial bus with no air-conditioner in it.

Ibe's wife Amara came back this evening. I wasn't expecting her. As I drew closer to my door I heard her voice as she chatted away. The second half of the duo chatterbox is back, now my ears should be wearing the most tech and efficient earmuffs.

Now it’s your turn; Please feel free to share and add your comments, your feedback and comments are always appreciated.
